I'll vote for 5/9 Buffalo as well. IMHO, the best show of that legendary month's run. Thanks, ScarFire, for this fantastic set of Sick Bits. The Chicago run hasn't left my CD player (except to toss in the Richmond '85 occasionally) since you put it up. YOU ARE THE FREAKIN' MAN!!!!

I missed previous volumes of Sick Bits. Are they matrix as well. If so, any chance I could get a copy?

Matthew--The previous editions of 'Sick Bits' are still available here, and they all still have several seeders. The easiest way to find them is to go the the bt.etree home page, scroll down until you find 'Grateful Dead' listed as an artist. Click on the 'Grateful Dead' link there, which will give you a page of nothing but GD torrents. Then just scroll down until you find the 'Sick Bits.' And yes, they're all matrix. Hope that helps. Believe me, they're worth the effort.

Just type "sick bits" into the search box from the bt home page, without the quote marks, and it'll take you to all of them...

Ummm, I guess I should have said "the easiest way that I know...". I should have guessed that I was taking the long way around the barn.... ;)

Hi everyone. This show is an all time favourite of a very close friend of mines, and his copy was lost in a move from NC to CO to MI. A friend turned me on to etree and soon I'll be attending a 12 step program to help with my downloading addiction...

Being a newbie, however, I cannot figure out how to convert .flac files to .wav or anything burnable. Could someone please tell me where I can get some software that'll do this for me? Preferably free.

Thank you all so much for making this happen, it's a truly beautiful family of music lovers and soon I'll be uploading some of my own stuff as well.

peace--

this show is being played jawdrappingly despaired & on the edge. the "terrapin"-outro simply bites as does everything beyond this point. outstanding first set as well, displaying unique energy two minutes into the show. what_a_show! this one didn't leave my player for three weeks when i had discovered it.

Can someone jump back on for a few? 4 of us are stuck at 83%.

Thank you
heckler1 2005-05-11 02:39:56
Take two: can someone else besides the lone seeder who is apparently uploading at a very slow rate jump back on for a few?

Thanks again ScarFire for all the of quality work you put into these "Sick Bits!" The Colgate U. show sounds great.
