| Description | I'm sure this was seeded at some point on Dime, but it's just too good of a show to not share again!
Great sound, great show....many thanx to all those who helped clean this one up, and to cleveland for the download :)...
***I believe these files were WAV'd then FLAC'd (by the seeder) so the data disc would fit nicely within 700 MB...if you would like to seed the SHN, and have me remove this torrent, I'm okay with that!!!****

i have the audio CDs made from the original SHN files...I de-FLAC'd this for comparison, and the WAV files sound the same...
I noticed very few people at etree had the original SHNs of this show, so that's why I seeded it anyway....
As I said before, if this is seen as unacceptable in any way, or someone would like to seed the SHNs, then I have no problem removing this torrent... |

Thanks alot, waiting to get my hands on this seed for a very long time now. I have the FM on analog cassette and the sound is just terrific, as is the performance.
Great upload, thanks again! :) |

Thanks for this seed. The great thing about the old PMG is that you could always tell what was happening. Now I wonder where all the sounds are coming from. I can never be happy with just LISTENING. There are no secrets in the old stuff. More fun to listen to. Thanks again.
By the way, could someone please reseed the 1982 show? Could that be possible? I've been waiting for months on that one. It looks really good. |

Matts.......you think too much - THE WAY UP is the best thing PMG has done since Offramp, IMHO.

| I know I think too much. I talked to Lyle after one of the shows earlier this year and asked him about his synths. He told me to give up now because his rig is too complicated to figure out. It was much simpler when he just had the Oberheim and the Yamaha Organ. Then came the Yamaha CP-30 and the Prophet. After that it just became too much. I've spent years analyzing the PMG's music in unknown depth. |

| This is just perfect -- can this music ever be dated? I think not! and April Joy? Fagetaboutit!!! |

Matts -
After listening to this show, I think you point is very well made - just guitars, bass, keys and drums..........nice and stripped and so powerful.
You'd have gotten firm support from me up until I caught TWU live in St. Louis last March........it touched me in a way that PMG hasn't touched me in years..........I find myself listening to it constantly, fascinated by the sounds and the textures........through it all, you still get clean Pat and all his magical abilities............but yeah, there's so much going on w/ the synths and the loops, you do find yourself asking - what or who's doing that?
take care
PS - thanks for this seed - incredible show!!! |

| I am sorry, my computer shut down in the middle. I restarted it, but I can't seem to tell abc to let it upload. It's in my queue but it says stop. I don't think I'm actually uploading anything. I'll stick around for a while in case you see this and can tell me if you are still making progress. |

Holy Anaconda Wanda Batman! It's been 3 years (!) since the last comment on this. But it still lives -- although a bit slowly! Can anyone help seed??
Cheers,
