Notes: Benefit for the victims of Hurricane Katrina. Robert Plant & the Strange Sensation opened the show. The $1000 ticket didn't keep the typical obnoxious and drunks away, but it was all for a good cause. Huge thanks to the PJ community for making this possible, and to my brother for solving my power issues. Raw transfer. Fades added to beginning and end of the discs prior to downsampling to 44.1 kHz. If you download this show, please make a contribution to the relief efforts through www.redcross.org and/or www.habitat.org. Thanks.

|thanks a lot supplicationjam for pointing this one out!
|Great work.....can't wait to hear "Fool" and Thank You.
|This looks like a fantastic one!! Thanks a million!
|i would've loved to be at this one, but ya know, a 1000 is a little out of my market. im glad i can hear it still(for a hell of alot less!) THANKS
|Yes, I agree!!...I already gave to the musicians fund via the
LivePhish "New Orleans Relief" downloads and poster, but I hope that most of you who download this will at least make a small contribution. 5 or 10 bucks will do the trick. Living here in Dallas, we saw the refugees firsthand, by the thousands. I also have many friends in Louisiana that were affected. The fact that these great musicians took "All of 16 seconds" to say yes attests to the severity of the situation.
I have just completed my third and most "complete" listen
of this show. I finally attained the right BUZZ level to appreciate the level that was achieved here. I knew it was great when I decided to post it here on etree, but tonite
I achieved proper "Head Space" to REALLY appreciate what was happening here on this nite. Eddie was sooooooooo hyped to be singing with Robert Plant it wasn't
even funny, who fucking wouldn't be, for chrissakes???!!!
The "Fool In The Rain" is magical!!......The guys in the band deserve MUCHO CUDOS for playing LIVE one of the most
difficult Zeppelin tunes ever!!.......and the "Thank You" is
so appropriate it's not even funny!
I hope this rant hasn't been too long, but the Mooseheads
are flowing down real smooth tonite, as well as some good
Canadian Hydro!!...........I still wish I was Canadian instead
of Texan.............oh well, that's a whole other story.......
|YOU WERE RIGHT ABOUT the annoying drunks on these discs....the band sounds great...but the people who keep yelling in unison or singing over every song gets annoying..you can kinda tell eddie gets pissed at some points because he probably cant even hear himself sing...if i paid $1000 to see pearl jam, i'd let eddie do all the singing...but thats just me
If all chicago crowds are that loud/drunk/obnoxious remind me to skip chi town
love the discs though...ill have to buy the soundboard from the pj site and see how it sounds
|Thank you thank you thank you
Being from Chicago, and deathly afraid of $1000 tickets (without the TicketMaster rape fee's), was very much hoping this would come around.
|What does this mean" "pj2005-10-05.flac" : IO Error [Errno 9] Bad file descriptor" Please help
|How bad are the drunk guys? Does it kill the recording?
|I can not get this to download. How do I download this?
|Very good! Thanks for sharing this one! =)
|crowds are not always like this in chicago. only at the house of blues for some annoying reason. most nights i can understand it, b/c its a touristy thing to do to catch a show there, lots of comp tickets floating around. this night i dont understand how they got in. anyways i was in a nice spot to be taping, and i dont think the crowd really takes away from the show. pretty happy w/ how my first outing w/ my new rig came out this night.
|Thank you. I am looking forward to enjoying this one!
thx a lot!
