This was the best phish show i saw.My first show was 1-26-89 at the paradise in boston!

No doubt about it! One of the most underrated Phish shows of all time. This show simply kicks ass from start to finish. Truly definitive versions of Julius, Stash, Hood, and Fluffhead, not to mention to finest Have Mercy the boys ever played. I was attending Kent State at the time, and was first in line when the tix went on sale. Front row, with Mike's sweat flecking all over us.
I consider this essential Phish.

The bluegrass is audible, but you're going to have to crank the volume up for those tracks if you want to hear them.
Holy crap, what a great show. Trey's solo in Julius had me going back to listen to it 3 times. Great setlist--I can't get enough of the epics like Fluffhead, Esther and Hood. Terrific sound, thanks so much for uploading this and for Project 94 in general. 1997, what's that? :-) |
