Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

This is a great "quick hitter". Sound is awesome and the piano tinckling by Vince is quite nice in this show. Call it Phil and Friends of call it Grateful Dead "unplugged", this is a great late dead gem.

| Thank you so much for seeding this!!! This is a real treat. For anyone who even likes the Dead the tiniest bit, download this set. Great sound and a fun short set. This is one of those "chillin' out with your friends" disk that will make everyone feel good. |

This is really a gem, with Jerry sounding great. Worth a download.
It surprises me that there are 135 people downloading this show when it has been avaiable on the Internet Archive for quite some time. The archive is a treasure, even with the Weir-led effort to remove so much of the Dead material.
If you're not aware of the archive, check it out at,

| This is a fine show indeed. Other than what's already been said about the Childhood's End and Attics, I've never heard a Birdsong even remotely like this--absolutely *gorgeous* jazz inflections and, to echo the common sentiments, Vince really shines, striking a magical balance of virtuosity, elegance and delicacy, to make no mention of the chemistry with Jer...if you are considering downloading this show, what the heck are you waiting for?? |

wow...haven't listened yet but I want to say how emotional it is for me to know this show is here. I worked for BGP as the production/stage manager for this show and it was one of the highlights of the years I was involved in helping get the shows on. After working production for all of the West Coast shows for years with the GD, it was a breath of fresh air to be in such an intimate setting and hear the music in a way I never thought I'd get an opportunity to do. The band and what small crew there was, was completely relaxed and just having a good time...like jamming with your buddies in the basement.
While I was one of the very, very lucky one's to get paid to see and hear the Dead, I never grew tired of the music or jaded by the perfomances...there was always something good to be found if you kept your ears and your mind open.
thanks for the chance to be able to really hear some of it again as a fan |

Really is a true gem. I stopped paying any attention to the Grateful Dead after 91. I just couldnt take it anymore, got way burnt out on entire scene.
I didnt even know that this show existed. Thank you for this up, i gratefully appreciate it. |
