| Yeah, it says 3 seeders - but I haven't gotten any of it yet. This was my absolute FAVORITE show from pre-hiatus. |

My favorite story of this tour:
Riding to the show with two friends, I popped in a Beastie Boys CD. One of my friends insisted I turn it off. "What is this crap" he said. "Let's listen to some real music."
My other friend backed me up. "The Beastie Boys are cool. I like this album."
We had this long debate about rap, the Beastie Boys roots in the NY hardcore scene and the importance of diversity in musical tastes. In the end, the Beastie Boys hater still hated on the Beasties.
Sure enough, like magic, Phish rocks out the Beastie Boys' Sabotage to end the show! Our jaws all dropped and we stared blankly at the stage and then one another. Finally, laughing/rocking out/freaking out for the rest of the song.
You couldn't have scripted a better moment on tour. An absolute classic! |
