Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

| I also have the Strober source (mk4) in 24 bit that I will upload and it will sync up with this source for mixing purposes. I don't know what use that is for most of you unless you like to have fun mixing for different sounds. I'm posting both so Strober can check out how all 5 channels came out (all were recorded together on my laptop). I'm doing a surround mix eventually for any interested.... although I'm not too sure how you would prepare the files for trading with something like that....??? |

I belive you can do the mix in Adobe Audition, or Cool Edit Pro. I think that's what AM-Dig uses.

| I've always avoided the 24 bits only because I'm not sure what to do with them. Where can you play them? Can you burn the show on a regular CD? Thanks! |

| 24 bit can be played directly from your computer, you can burn it onto a video dvd and any dvd player should play it, or if you have a dvd audio player (not very common) you can burn a DVD-audio disc. Technically you could convert to 16 bit and burn to cd but I would just reccommend downloading the 16 bit version to begin with (Strober's sounds good). If you did get the 24 bit version you would have to convert sample rate, dither and fix SBE's before burning to cd. This is process that can take a few minutes or a full day depending on the quality desired. I would just get the 16 bit version, all the work is already done for you. |
