|Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading.
|A few notes:
(1) Caveat Downloader: this is a FLAC-ed version of the original (shn) fileset. If this is unacceptable, do not download. The SHN fileset will probably reappear on bt.etree sometime. Personally, I trust the work of the person who FLAC-ed it, so it's not an issue for me. The occasional issues with this recording were present on the master fileset and, with 99.99999% probability, had nothing whatever to do with being FLAC-ed. See the db for details.
(2) This wasn't the obvious choice for a 2000 gin. Search etree for, say, 6.28.2000, and you'll notice it's been seeded 3 times in the last couple months or so. Some folks have been waiting much longer than that for this one . . .
(3) . . . and the gin on this night, though a bit of a dark horse, absolutely is a keeper (imho).
(4)The #5a means that I'll put up a 2nd show for 2000. Could be a couple weeks, though, as I'm in the process of moving. Enjoy!
|Sorry for the slow u/l in the early going. I'm trying to configure uTorrent so I can switch from azureus, and I've hit a couple speed bumps. If I can't resolve the speed issues within a couple hours, I'll switch back to a different client.
|This was a really fun show, as were all of them on this tour.....everyone is worth the d/l...thanks for the seeed
|On a note for top shelf gins, check out 10/1/99 Ames.
|I've been downloading this show for he past week, my share rating is in the green but it won't go more than 1 kb/s...any help?
I've loved all of the top shelf gins so far, and am greatly anticipating this one too.
I was hoping I could talk you into re-seeding the 12-15-99 Top Shelf Gin. I was on a vacation hanging out in Utah and Colorado, and wasn't able to pick it up. I was at that show, hung out with a real fun-gi, and was hoping to re-live some old glories.
