Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

| Looks good though I have to ask why 11-7-96 and 11-9-98 didn't make the cut?? These are two of the sweetest Gins around. Don't get me wrong, I'm not hatin' on the torrent, I was just wondering why. |

Please to explain--is this a selection of complete Gins? Or a mix a la the mixes that have appeared here in the past? (Tweezer, Stash, The Other One, etc.) The latter seems more likely, as 14 tracks spread over 76 minutes averages out to some very short Gin jams...

have to agree with the above poster-- 8-17-97 is a striking omission.

| for you folks wondering about this fileset, just expand the files, like you do to see the swarm, most of the files are less than 50 MB, my vote goes to the "mix", not a bunch of separate complete Gins |

Maybe gins such as 8/17/97 were left out becaus ethye are great in their entirety, and therefore hsould not be "cut up" for a comp like this?

Thanks for the feedback. To clarify, as disco and others surmised this set is indeed a mix. Besides a much heralded Gin 7Nov.96 features other he takes such as Stash.
17Aug.97 was omitted because I had 2 '97 versions in the mix> in reality I think the WENT Ball version helped create such a charged WENT Gin, I like the influence.

| I have a 2 disc set entitled "Reba Jams" and it is sweet....I was thinking about seeding it, but I don't have any show info....would it be lame to seed it without knowing where they are from? Doesn't matter to me at all when I listen, but I don't want to seed it if that's bad form.... |

| anytime any sort of mix or compilation is seeded there are always a bunch of people saying "what about blah/blah/blah" thanks for this mix, i enjoy these types of things |

thanks alot for this, enjoying it very much. The 9 July 03 sample is really nice. Good selection. Decided to grab it because I attended 3 of those Gin shows...;)
since everyone is piping in I figure I might as well say that the Philly '94 Gin was tasty too and superbly psychedelic...and as far as technicalities go...and just a suggestion for your next project...maybe cross-fading the jams instead of fading in/out would work out better...
anyways I appreciate the effort and the time it took you to creat this mix for us

| Aren't RowJimmy's mixes cross-faded? Not that I'm complaining about the free tunes or anything--heaven forbid! But they sure are easy easy on the ears that way... |
