Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

Thanks again for all the new Oct 84 stuff. For anyone who missed it the first time around, I am going to re-seed Ted Carpenter's 10-20-84 (shnid 33341) after Nak700 puts up the 18th...

oh, wow, thanks! i had a wild synchronicity experience the first time i heard this show, connected to among other things a girl born on this day. new sources are always welcome! thanks!

Hey dude, thanks for the wonderful floood of 84 auds! They are alll great!! 10/11 and 10/12 are goreous, 10/08 is pheonomanol! the bass response on the recordings is really nice, not hollow like the bass i get when i record with a microphone, theres some serious bump in some of these recordings.

Again, thank you; has been wonderful grooving to the new auds. I am going to burn 10/11 and 10/12 for driving!!

Thanks! I bought the whole tour and only missed one show, Hartford 10/15. I was at the last show, Syracuse, but did not tape. Had great seats, sec. 4 real close, but they didn't last long due to a stage rush that just kinda flattened the rows of chairs. I grabbed my gear and headed for the nose bleed section. I'll be putting 10/18 up tonight.
Then, per a request, I'll be putting up the June '84 Red Rocks run. etree doesn't even list a recording for 6/12, one SBD for 6/13 and one aud. for 6/14. Same with the LMA.
Stay tuned.....

I'd like to add my thanks to you, nak700 . . . so, Thanks!!! I'm really enjoying all your recently posted shows.

Thnaks, for sure. Does anyone remember if this was the brendan byrne show where it was lightening during looks like rain, or was that a year or two before?
deadbass36 2006-09-26 23:05:16
This was an indoor show--if you saw lightning thats your own thing man--: )
peacenow 2006-09-27 06:59:48
I am sure I had my own thing goin'...but I thought I remembered that the top of the arena had something like skylights. It could have been the '82 show. Anyhow, thanks again for the great seed.
csmiller 2006-10-01 11:49:01
This is sweet. I think this Aiko may trump the Red Rocks version that the Compendium fluffs so much.

Thanks for the seed.
stardancer 2006-10-17 15:58:36
thanks again! this one sounds beatiful, a super upgrade to the source on the Archive!! thanks again, this show is special to me, and a great show in itself! :)
nak700 2006-11-08 12:12:14
peacenow, I think you are refering to Rutgers Athletic Center, 5/15/81. LLR with lightning visible thru the plexi glass roof. It continued thru Estimated.
