Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

| I saw these guys last night in Athens, GA, and man, they freakin' rock! Thanks for taping. Nobody got the show I was at, but the soundguy was taping and said it might show up on the site (apparently it was a good night? I haven't heard a recording from a bad night...) |

The Soapbox is down town on Front st., between Grace and Chestnut. Two floors- the bigger bands play upstairs. |

Thanks man, glad you like it. Charlie had the venue set up chairs on the dance floor, so that sorta helped keep the noise down.
I'll seed the 24bit if anyone is interested.....and will help seed. |

| Is the Soapbox where the Skylight used to be? (One block left of Bessie's) By the way, CHT was smokin' here in Atlanta on Wednesday. Two sets in front of maybe 30 people, No smokin' and tables and chairs set on the sides with the center to stand. Charlie just talked freely with everyone in the crowdbetween and during songs. It was wild!!! |

Not familiar with the Skylight, but the Soapbox is one block on the left of Bessie's.
The 24bit version is now up.

| Thanks for the recording. I am amazed there aren't more people taping him (or even showing up). I just caught Atlanta through New Orleans and it was amazing. I had technical difficulties in Athens but I have Birmingham and both New Orleans nights. Athens was something truly special but there were no bad nights. Sunday night was spectacular. Atlanta was just too hectic and I was visiting some friends so I didn't try to tape there. Should be posting within a couple of days. |

| Wow, this is a really neat show. I've never heard of Charlie playing with a Rhodes piano. Very rare, special and it sounds great. Thanks for sharing! |

| I've been giving this a serious listen and I've come to the conclusion that this is one of my favorite Charlie Hunter projects. My bias is that I prefer his more rock sounding projects without brass. My favorite incarnation was Hunter, Lovejoy & Chopek. I really dug the "Duo" album. Charlie isn't just playing his same old songs here in a different way, it's like he's going for a completely different style and sound. His playing is so meaty. There's no fluff here, all substance. At times, the keyboard isn't loud enough in the mix and at times there is an annoying crackling noise, but overall the sound quality is very good. Charlie plays with so many musicians in so many incarnations, I really hope that he cuts a CD with this group. |

| This is an outstanding recording. Point it out to anyone that thinks sbds are better than audience. Thank you tapers and band. And yes this incarnation is wicked too. |

| funny...this show and 12/11/2006 don't show up on LMA. If you click the link above, it will take you to the LMA hunter show, but you can't get to it directly from LMA...very strange. |
