Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.

This is an effort to seed all existing MMW shows, and yes, preserving the original SHN/FLAC filesets. The seeding will proceed chronologically starting with the earliest known circulating fileset.
Thanks to MMW for allowing their music to be recorded....really, thank you.
Huge thanks goes out to the tapers, without whom this wouldn't be possible...and those that have helped get the tunes to our ears.
And thanks to the other 3 guys I've dragged into this and who seem committed to the cause: Louie, Mike & Tom....we're all listening to these shows and hopefully circulating the best versions.

Thanks to Bill for the original seed he put up yesterday...it was pulled because it lacked the fingerprint....
I grabbed a complete copy and since that seed was only two tracks, I've tracked it all out...here ya go...

| WOW, Thanks a ton. Taped this from the lawn but the guys in fromt of us were going on and on about Mike Tyson biting Evander Holyfield the night before. Kinda funny to have i guess... Thanks again for this copy! |

| I taped this from the 2nd row to the right of the stage, in front of the speaker stack. Thanks for the re-seed. Kind of weird downloading my own torrent. Just a comment, my master CD seems to have slightly more warmth due to the 1 gen analogue transfer. The flac kind of loses that warmth-sounds more digital- still great, though. Nice setlist. |
