Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

just out of curiosity, shouldn't bailey hall be barton hall????

thanks for the 75! Nicky Hopkins is pretty sick, too bad he drank himself out of JGB.....
purpletornado 2006-11-24 18:49:58
No, Bailey Hall is the correct bvenue for this performance. Bailey is a smallish (1900 seat) theater on the Cornell campus while Barton Hall is a huge cavernous ROTC hangar.
dminches 2006-11-24 19:02:13
Why Barton Hall? There is a Bailey Hall at Cornell too. Do you have information which would indicate Barton is the correct venue?
macdoogle 2006-11-24 19:39:51
where's jjoops at a time like this?
thank you for the upload
testing325 2006-11-24 19:53:57

1zeppelin2 2006-11-24 20:11:01
Thanks for this one!!!
gratebear 2006-11-24 20:58:55
Thanks so much for this. Keeping my fingers crossed that 10/28/75 E and/or L will show up here some day too!!
Lewis/Klitschko 2006-11-24 21:42:12
For the record, this is Bailey Hall. There is no evidence Jerry Garcia ever stepped foot in Barton Hall, let alone played a musical performance in there.
jjoops-garcia 2006-11-24 22:01:03
Thanks to David and all involved!

<<There is no evidence Jerry Garcia ever stepped foot in Barton Hall, let alone played a musical performance in there.>>

what about the sweet Doug Mow FOBs from 5-16-81 that popped up this summer? we can't lump those into the 'Barton Hall Experiment' mythology, can we?

<just stirrin' the pot...> ;-)

dminches 2006-11-24 23:03:12
Well, that's not true either since the Dead played Barton Hall 3 times.
Handsome 2006-11-24 23:52:47
Definitely Bailey Hall as I was at the show. Nice small venue. As I recall, the seating was in a semi circle.....almost like a theater in the round sliced in half
jjoops-garcia 2006-11-25 09:37:01
David, there is a long-running rec.music.gdead prank whereby 5/8/77 is said to be a hoax, which Lewis-Klitschko seems to have extended to Barton Hall in general.
Noraa 2006-11-25 12:23:00
hate to grovel, but a month or so ago there were a string of JGB shows from 8/84. 8/12/84 was never put up. Anybody have a copy they can seed? I hear the show is awesome!
dminches 2006-11-25 12:28:52
Ahh....
