Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

Requested at Week4paug.net......My wife and I left the japan shows and spent a week and a half in Thailand, then left Thailand, back through Japan (8 Hours?), flew to New York (8 hours?), caught a train to CT (1.5 hours), borrowed my mom's car and drove up to Hartford (2 hours)...all in all we travelled about 24 hours straight to get to this show, including 2 Thursdays due to the time change...we made it in during the Bag jam, totally confused but happy. If you went to this show and found a fleece Lowe hoody on the track behind the last row of seats, it's my wife's....thanks...
shaggysrv 2006-11-29 22:55:54
Great story caravan... and thanks for the show!
Fleezer 2006-11-29 23:01:26
nice first set
literacyofdance 2006-11-30 00:00:18
so the second show of the tour after (finally) running into my fam, dont have a ticket but the beer is good to me, cant stand being in the lot (they were really far from the venue!) and head closer to find a way in. low and behold, the halley's opener, i start running, heading around to the back, shit, and now mango song? find a totally weird entrance with two umm, locals i guess? guarding what looks like a service ramp. i'm casual. dood offers me a ticket for five dollars. i tell him it's free. he caves, i bounce, make it in to the lawn for a wonderful makisupa and raging bowie, not to mention the cavern with tweezer teases (i think?) AND the old alternate lyrics.

wird.
caravan2001 2006-11-30 02:22:19
yeah, I remember we parked and had to walk (run) like a mile to the venue. it was weak, tons of traffic too....
cleeetusg 2006-11-30 11:34:38
one bourbon, one scotch...and a BIG OLE ^%$

really fun show! A freight train passing on tracks right next to the venue sparked the high-spirited GBOTT.

This was also the show where two VERY YOUNG women in the lot were selling the FISHMAN HIT ON ME stickers. We laughed ourselves sick, then bought out all they had left. They still adorn our coolers and guitar cases today, and were mentioned by Trey during the 2003 Star Lake Harpua ("JIMMY HIT ON ME")
cleeetusg 2006-11-30 11:35:18
oops, the GBOTT was the other night

Caravan: I love hearing your stories about the Phish shows. I like reading comments almostas much as listening to the shows.
Please don't take this wrong, but how the heck do you do it? You were there in early 90s, then fly off to Japan (and Europe I am assuming). How do you, or did you, find the time to do it? I think it is really great and I am jealous that you did it, but wonder how.
Were you self employed, have an awesome boss, etc? Please keep the stories coming, and sorry but my curiosity got the best of me. Thansk for the seed....Charlie
caravan2001 2006-12-01 00:19:23
Let's just say I used to be self-employed. I don't care to further incriminate myelf, even though it was all a long time ago (more than 7 years LOL!)..I was in the right place in the right time at the right age too, so I was able to see a lot of shows in the early years due to a college kids lax schedule. plus I flunked out in 91 and saw a buttload of shows that year, but I finally did graduate in 92.....I'll keep the stories coming, unless someone tells me I'm annoying....
