Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Thanks alot for this!
What's the deal with private trackers? Are they trying to keep the good stuff to themselves?
You're my hero gearfab. You're like the Che Guevara of bootlegs lol |

Wondering whether 5/7/79 ever circulates; had an aud tape long gone. Thought there was a SBD but never saw it. Was a Freshman at Lafayette at the time and to have them play, literally, in one's backyard was a religious experience I'd like to relive....
Thanks again, gentlemen! |

I guess it goes wothout saying, but THIS is one for the ages. Anyone who was there will never forget this night. One of the best GD experiences I ever had. Words fail to describe the magic of 4-15-78. I especially liked Candyman but the entire night was exceptional. The crowd went nuts when they broke into M. Dew. I think it had been a year & a half since it was last played. Thank you, thank you, thank you for this great show.
I have an A+ quality aud of this on a very low gen cassette along with the many SBD's of it.
My best cassettes are gen 4 SBD with the complete show, no cuts anywhere, drums & space, NFA, & OMSN are all complete. I was told they were part of the locker hord back in the day when I got them. |

| While we are discussing April '78, is there a better copy of 4-18 available? I have killer's from the shows before, but crapola for 4.18(my 1st show, btw). Ant comments would be helpful |

| Hey ... just a word about the private trackers ... where do you think Charlie's seeds originate from? ... and I guarantee that the orignal leechers then bring them to etree and other forums ... no one is hoarding any music ... and they're not really private after all ... keep spreading the music ... |

| It isn't that hard to get an invite to any of the private trackers... |
