Notes:
I don't know any of the song titles, including that of
the well known Christmas song. Tracks 1-3 are magicgravy.
By track 4 the sax from Everyone Orchestra comes out and
then the rest of Everyone Orchestra and it just
segues into the EO first set. I did not tape the
Everyone Orchestra Set II because I was tired and lazy
and because Bay Recorders (http://www.bayrecorders.org/)
ran a Matrix which they are selling.

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Hi Harry. Long time no see (edmund here). I hope life has been treating you well. I was wondering about the whole bayrecorders thing. What is up with that? They record shows and then sell them? I assume that's all with the artists blessing and the artist must get a % of sales. I guess all of us tapers should have started doing that years ago and we could've quit our jobs and provide a "service" to the music community for a price [joking]. I wonder if people actually buy those recordings?? They obviously let you tape so they don't get an exclusive taping contract for the event. Just strikes me as totally contradictory of everything tapers stand for [sharing the music for free]. First I've heard of that biz model.

Thanks for the setlist help Beyowka!
Hey Edmund! Good to see ya, electronically at least. Life on the whole has been good! That's pretty much what Bay recorders does, they have some nice mics on stage which they matrix with the SBD feed, burn discs and have them after the show for folks to buy or they can mail them. They also sell them afterwards They do do it with the blessing of the artists and the artists get a % but I don't know how much. It's kind of like the InstantLive thing I guess. Their recordings generally sound good, I have bought a few of their shows though I did get some pops on a couple of discs early on from poor duplication practices. I don't know how they could make much money on it, especially considering the level of popularity the artists they tape have.
If I won the lottery or inherited a bunch of money though it sounds like a great type of business to start! |
