| Description | One of the smallest Panic shows I've ever been to .. a show performed almost in the round and jam-packed!!!!
Nestled between Red Rocks and Vegas, here's a nice oasis in the AZ desert on our way to Sin City ..... Taj Mahal opened and the band was up-close - I swear there was not a seat futher back than maybe 15-20 rows, tops!
One of my favorite Panic road trips ... ever! (Although TX Spring 2007 might rally!!)
Vegas 6/28 and 6/29 on the way!!
dave.
Thanks to Justin and Alan for the original seeds!

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Really cool to see them in a tiny theater only after witnessing the prior 3 shows at Red Rocks.
We went in to the theater pretty damn early to beat the heat (it felt like 120 degrees). Air conditioning was nice, and we set up literally right beside Mikey. Fucking cool as hell to see the interplay when JB turned to Mikey during many of the songs.
Next shows were 2 nights in Vegas then 4 nights in Cali.
Summer of 2000 was tight as hell.
Not bad of a run for many of us from the East Coast. |

WOW! Thanks so much for this!
What a great theater! I recall it being round inside so you could basically look everyone in the room in the eyes (if you dared), and the stage was almost in the middle. It felt like a house party!
I literally almost forget I went to this show, have not seen or heard anything about it since! Can't say enough about how great it is to see this posted.
We miss you Mikey!

| ahh yes finally. i reuested a seed of this some time ago, and it is finally here. This was a fab. show, yes it was a small theatre. Kinda tough being a tall guy and trying to sueeze into the small seats ohh well. As far as the show goes what a gem, it was my first wsp show and they rocked. Not sure how this source sounds, but the source i had back in the day was great. Thanks again for getting this up here.. |

Celebrity Theatre holds a special place in my heart as I'd seen my first Phish show here, saw a great WSP show in '99 that featured JB crooning a fitting Wish You Were Here, and then this gem with one of my all-time fav's - Taj Mahal. I'd also met some great people & made many lasting friendships on this southwest swing.
One of the coolest things about this venue was the layout of the Theater - there wasn't a bad seat in the house. You were able to walk right up to the stage before the lights went down....... I vividly remember checking out Mikey's rack of guitars shimmering under the lights.
I love the encore duet of JB & Taj - especially interesting for the fact that Taj catches JB off-guard by pulling out a blues tune Taj had never before played live...... and so JB's up to bat...... & sounding a bit confused he counters with lyrics from Me & the Devil (that's my take on it anyway - good stuff indeed).
Thanks!!! |
