Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

he played with them the whole show except: disc 1 tracks (1, 9) disc 2 track 5.
He smoked all night. considering they didn't even rehearse together and this was the 1st night of the tour, they sounded like they had been playing together for years. hope the tapes turned out nice. and thanks a lot for taping |

| oteil is the most underrated of the amazing bassists. plus he does that scat thing which can go on too long but is generally jaw-dropping. |

Thanks for the great recording! LOVE this band - but is Paul Henson singing? Oteil doesn't announce him during band intros, & it doesn't really sound like his voice, but I swear he can be heard between songs talking. I'm confused...
Here's a setlist for everyone:
Disc 1:
1. Monk Funk
2. You Got Me Floating
3. Rooster
4. Sweet Lord
5. What Is Hip?
6. No More Doubt
7. Butter Biscuit
8. Hit The Hay
9. Power To Love
Disc 2:
1. Payday
2. Pull Together
3. Elijah (?)
4. ?
5. Green Eyed Lady
6. Tubby
7. Thank You > Church Groove
Encore:
8. Satisfaction Guaranteed |

| Paul was not there - Oteil handled vocals for most of the night, but Chris Fryar sang at least one song (I think Green Eyed Lady) and their sound engineer came on stage and sang the last song of the show...he sounds a bit like Paul. |

I saw The Peacemakers last November and Paul Henson wasn't singing with them then.
I asked Oteil about it and he said Paul was taking a break,
But i kind of got the feel that maybe he had left the band.

The Sound Engineer is Penn. He is a great guy. He arranged for me and a few friends to go hang with Jimmy at his hotel after the show. What an amazing night.
Since SpreadHeadTom is out of town, I will download and take a listen. Much love for taping this show. There were a entire slew of folks taping. You all converted your table section to an entire fob experience.
Much Love. |

"Since SpreadHeadTom is out of town, I will download and take a listen."
So glad you decided to go slumming. Really. Look for Tommy's recording...it's another one where he ran out of power.
"There were a entire slew of folks taping."
Actually, only four.
Much hate and fuck off.

Mr. DiScenza:
You obviously have me wrong, and I don't appreciate that. I obviously know very little about taping. I am trying to increase my knowledge. I saw what appeared to be more than 4 sets of mics, but it was dar. I know your equipment is more than $3,000.00 and I RESPECT ALL TAPERS. I don't appreciate you taking my comments out of context. I said much love for taping this show. I know Tommy, and he would tell you that you definitely got the wrong impression.
Look, after listening to your recording, I think it is very crisp, clean and the chatter is kept to a minimal. I was in no way trying to make your recording any less important that Tommy's tapes. In fact, I usually download more than one source for shows unless I get a sbd, matrix, etc. I probably won't even download Tommy's version since this is where its at.
Oh, and if you are worried about me leeching this show and not helping seed, well please think again. Since my computer is slow, I have to wait until I am away from the computer to leave my seed open all night as I always do. Tonight won't be any different from any other night that I have downloaded a show.
Look, this is the wrong place to pick and choose who you allow negative thoughts to arise about what non-tapers think. You should always make sure about the context, rather than to assume someone was disregarding or "slumming" along to find what works best for me.. Someone had to have pissed you off much earlier in the day to leave remarks to a supportive stranger.
Again, if you think I am slumming through the torrents, then you must not have faith in anyone but yourself. There are a lot of us who search for the sound. You are one, you are a taper and you should know that more than me. It just doesn't settle well with me that you have personally attacked a loyal fan for showing support of your TAPES. I think you owe me an apology!
Thank you for your attention to this.

I don't know who you think you are but responses like this are exactly the type that give tapers a bad name; and rightfully so imo. A lot of us recordists do the work and spread our tapes b/c we like to. Then there are the tapers like you who apparently feel the need to berate people for no apparent reason and come off like a total jackass when someone has an opinion.
Probably the reason the guy usually grabs Tommy's recordings is because his actually sound good, previously running 414s and now his jk labs ecms-22 > acm671. YOU should be lucky anyone downloads your muddy ass Schoeps tapes as it is. Instead you insult the people helping spread your recordings.
I clicked on this show with the intent to download and hear Jimmy jam with Oteil, but now i think I'll pass on your source and talk to Tommy and grab his incomplete source if he indeed did tape it. If not, I'll wait and get hooked up from one of the other three tapers. At least then I know that I'll be getting a tape from someone who isn't in the business of making a complete ass of himself in the public realm.
I'm actually ashamed that there is someone who shares the same name as me and be such an inconsiderate ignoramus.

Wait, now i know where I recognized your name from. You're Tommy's friend and you run (ran?) foh for nmas.
Apparently you think that gives you the right to be an inconsiderate prick to people? From everything I've heard about you you're a nice guy who help us tapers out at shows, but you sure as hell aren't giving that impression with your response in this torrent.
Where's that southern hospitality y'all are famous for? On a day such as today, I guess it's only fitting that your true colors (?) shine through Tim.

| Power to love rocks. They throw in classic riffs from AC/DC Back in Black and Led Zeps riff from The Ocean. Cool. This band rocks hard. |
