87, a weak year. I don't think so, my unknown friend. 1987 delivered some of the most soulful, amped up, and eclectrifying versions of whatever songs happened to be in the rotation. wow, 87 was balls. i saw my first show in '88, so as the old story goes, i felt as though i missed out. 87 ROCKS!!! muchos gracias to all those working late to make these happen. bueno bueno :)

My first Dead show was at Red Rocks so it is special for me. I'd traveled from northern Montana with out tickets but got in. There are no fans like Dead fans and few venues like Red Rocks.
