Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see

did you paste the ffp file text into the actual info file that is part of the torrent? if you did, the file signatures will no longer match what is in the .torrent file and that would explain why some of us appear to be stuck at 99.9%. you may need to seed with a new .torrent file if any of us are going to get the whole thing and flip to seeding mode. thanks for the show just the same, love these guys. |

| No. The problem may be that I changed the name of the files in the torrent after making the ffp file. I was going through the instructions and decided i needed to make the file names match the naming standards more closely and forgot to go back and generate a new ffp file. Should I post a new torrent with just the new ffp file, or should i just start over? Does that cause the torrent not to complete? I thought it would only make the checksums fail. or do the chcksums run automaatically? I'm sorry, i never really understood all the techno-shite, i just took my music and ran with it! :-) uploading is more complicated than downloading! |
