Notes: Whoever they had mixing sound this night was a terrible soundman,
(but a nice guy - I remember buying him a shot in exchange for letting me
plug into the 1/4 inch outson the back of the soundboard.) As a result,
it's a typical bar band recording, with plenty of sound adjustments going
on, and spots of feedback here and there, as well and not being mixed
terribly well.
Gotta give shout outs on this one to Chris Lane (my brother) for help
with recording and Allison Borden and all her roommates for help with
transportation, tape deck borrowing, and overall hospitality this weekend.
It's also worth noting that this is the only time I can ever recall that
Johnny and the Fighting Boys was played in the first set. This is also the
earliest known RECORDED version of the song. (although it had been around
for several months at this point.)
We had a lot of fun at this show. I remember it being cold, and us being
thankful for that woodstove that was in Old City Hall.
Enjoy it for what it is!

Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those

I think there is one more recording of Conehead playing Old City - before they moved to The Buckhout Brewery down the street.
I also have one or two Ominous Seapods shows from Old City as well, which I'll get to eventually.
Glad people are enjoying this stuff.
So much music....not nearly enough time to work on it all!

I was in my second year of college in 96; any shows from Oswego around this time would be great. There was one Seapods show I really remember from Old City. I don't remember the date but I do remember a ripping Raspberry Beret.
