Notes from the compiler:
The official launch of O in Ireland, when pretty much everyone in the world who had ever heard of Damien Rice could fit into Vicar Street at once. A packed setlist from an extra-long set. Fun moments include Me, My Yoke & I, 'a song by the lads, for the lads, and their lads', the sax version of Cheers Darlin' and the 'dark & depressing' Song For Tomo... The audio quality has been decidedly improved in the remaster, making the off-mic banter and singing much clearer. Great stuff.

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see

| Thx so much for this. I consider myself a new comer--I've seen him a couple times (seeing him at the Mountain Winery after proposing to my girlfriend was a very special night--and a very special venue in N Cal) and I consider Mr. Rice to be nothing short of a genius. I knew his talent was immense as a songwriter after hearing O but had no idea he was as stunning as he is live. The more the better in terms of this guy. Thx so much! |
