A sunny afternoon with Jerry's Band ... a Wonderful show!
This is an audience tape on the hill 3/4 of the way up. The soundboard was next to the stage off to the side if I remember correctly. Twas sunny for Jerry and rainy for Bobby and the Midnites[who played after JGB]. A Great show!

NOTES:
I have appended the original shn.md5/flac.md5/flac16.ffp/wav.md5 to the end of this textfile. I created one or more md5's, either for the .flac16/.wav &/or .shn files. The .flac16.md5 is to check the integrity of the .flac's, separate from .flac's own checksum system. I also edited this text file slightly.

| Sorry, count me as one of the Garcia fans who doesn't have this. Can anyone with a good source of this show seed it? Thanks! :-) |

| WTF is the point of SHN>Flac>SHN? Follow Rustystrings link to a better source. |

This whole comment section shows me that most here cannot read Lineage:
"WTF is the point of SHN>Flac>SHN?"
If you go back and read the lineage, you will see the only thing Trade did was fix SBEs on the original seed: SHN(non-seekable) > WAV(mkwACT v0.97 beta 1) > FLAC v1.7.1 at L8 -V --sector-align(Frontend v1.7.1) > SHN(mkwACT v0.97 beta 1)
He then converted his new fixed WAVs back to SHN as people demand, despite the fact that SHN is obsolete.
As for the "better" source via Rusty, that is subjective - 2 different sources (one Senn, the other AT). I would call the Senn's a "different" source.

good news. i have restored this show to its pure, unadulterated form. heres the lineage: SBD>?>DAT>CDR>EAC>>SHN(seekable) > WAV(mkwACT v0.97 beta 1) > FLAC v1.7.1 at L8 -V --sector-align(Frontend v1.7.1) > WAV(Frontend v1.7.1) > SHNV3(ShortenDrop v1.0)
> really crappy cdr > ripped using Windows Media Player to MP3 > converted to ogg vorbis (only the best) > equally crappy cdr > ripped with itunes AAC > somehow put on .45 > ran through tv to vhs> Maxell XLII > Maxell XLII > Maxell XLII> Maxell XLII (4th gen is best IMHO> apple lossless using some program from paraguay> wav > remastered by staring at it long enough> shn > flac 3> flac 4 > flac 6
enjoy! |

"He then converted his new fixed WAVs back to SHN as people demand, despite the fact that SHN is obsolete."
That's got to be the most retarded thing I've ever heard. Why bother doing something like that other than to be stubborn and piss people off? |
