Important news from bt.etree.org!

| You would think not due to the original pitch problems. However, after looking at the wav during the pitch correction, the silence looks like several other dsbds I've looked at--no hiss, clear, etc. When you check it out I think you'll conclude that there is no cassette in the lineage. |

What was the digital recorder? Was something wrong with the crystal? |

Not likely a problem with the recorders, but rather with the sample rates during the transfers. You'll notice there's a soundforge in the lineage, so that's probably where the pitch shift occured. |

Mattman I used ASIO drivers from interface to soundforge, there should not have been a pitch issue do SF.
however, if you want a re-transfer of this DAT, I will run do it per this ...
DAT > TASCAM DA-20 (spdif out) -> Apogee Wide Eye spdif interconnect -> Lynx Two Soundcard (spdif in) -> Wavelab 6.0
