Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Thank You!
I'd never seen these guys before and they were outstanding. Had only listened to that double live Okonokos cd from Japan. I'm hooked.
(Was that your "Don't Tread On Me" flag? It's awesome, just curious :)
Thanks again for all your efforts. |

Thanks for this...I was there with my 14 yr old son.
We were hanging under the mics (must have been 6 stands) and some morron was next to us with a tamberine and actaully playing it during part of the show. I wonder if it shows up on the recordings....I guess sometimes people get too wasted and don't realize how stupid they are.
Anyway the festival was just a+.......

| ok i drove down there from NY for the weekend and of course because these guys were going up against the disco biscuits i had to see the biscuits - my curiosity has been piqued - i hope these guys area jamband because I have to say most of the people i talked to thought they were an emo or punk-pop band. I'm going to download a track and hope it doesn't suck. Thanks to the taper for your efforts but if this isn't jam I'm going to be highly disappointed. |

Ha!
From Jim James on the band's website: "...Hip-hop and soul music are unifying people right now. I wanted to incorporate that into our music; to make this really sad, mysterious kind of dance music, something that really got into your butt, but also really got into your head and made you think."
(And Florida's motto is actually "In God We Trust," believe it or not :)
Flag's called the "Gadsden Flag" - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gadsden_flag |

tripp...
the yellow flag is the meeting point for the twisted clowns...a group of music heads who congregate in NOLA for jazzfest & FLA for Langerado.
join us....great party.
These guys blew me away....I had never heard their music before, but the first tune was Punk-Freebird reincarnated.
thanks for taping & sharing

"also: playing tambourine along with a band is awesome! says me!"
NO! Please. nobody came to the show to hear you clap or play tamborine, or yell constantly. If you doubt that, then YOU put on a show and call it "random tamborine asshole" and see if anybody shows up.
I'm really not trying to be a jerk, but the guys on the stage are who I'm there to hear... not you... get it?

Mark,
Great work here. IMO, the best sounding show anyone pulled from the festival (although they are all A-quality recordings) !
Cheers,

AAARGGHHH I can t take it anymore! I have listened to these guys a whole bunch of time s trying to figure out what all you see in this band. THEY HAVe NO BUSINESS ON THE JAM SCENE they are indie hard rock crap and all over the internet people are chalking these guys up to an event-closer are you people deaf??? the langerado 2007 picture coments are full of people ranting (good rants) about MMJ heres the reaslest most efficient truthful rant about these musicians who have no business playing crappy indie rock at a ssexy jam festival - THESE GUYS SUCK
i'M A STICKLER FOR HATING ON BANDS THAT AREN'T DOING WELL AND WELL THESE GUYS SUCKED WORSE THAN OAR (who belongs on teh jam scene) |

| I'm sorry if I come across as an asshole but I'm sick of hearing all the hype. These guys should be on teh bill at lollapalooza or k rock or edgefest or something like that. Not a festival band. |

| Which is why the biscuits were playing at the same time. The Langerado organizers figured out the age old problem of schedule conflicts and minimized it to obvious choices for most of us. |
