Notes: * The 8x10 requires tapers to patch into a patchbay
of a house matrix. The venue's sound guy waited until the
band came out to try to send a signal. When he couldn't
get it to work, I got out my mics by the latter part of
the 1st song & clamped to the balcony essentially right
over the side of the stage. The owner came over & fixed
the matrix feed by the end of the set so I patched in
for the 2nd set.

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those

Good thing you brought your own mics just in case.
I dislike the policy there, and in many ways that itself has kept me from going there except for show I REALLY need to see.
It's too bad, it's a great room with a great sound system. I had made some smokin' tapes there in the past.

| thanks guys. I edited that text (and made it a little nicer) about 5 times because the owner is such a nice guy. Its just a shitty policy. Frankly I don't need a matrix inthere with the killer sound that room kicks out. make a little aea & let people clamp to the balcony dfc for gods sake. what's the problem??? |

| Just make it no stands, either hand held or clamp and limit the amount of tapers to 4-5. Or invest in some decent gear and keep the policy as is. |
