Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

hey macdoogle, I've got a 5-14-83 set 2 on cassette from an unknown source (it's got at least a few cassette generations, unfortunately) - anyways, I've compared it to the Rango K source, and I think what I have is much fuller sounding (lots more bass) - maybe it's from the bass boost source??
I keep searching, thus far in vain, for a clean version of the source I'm used to hearing - the bassy one! Rango's is sweet, but not bassy enough for me...
let's hope those Nak 700 Greeks surface!!

Hey Neo-
Could you please consider seeding the Matt Field aud of NYE '81 and the Warfield 3/29/83 Kouky auds....Bill and I have been talking about these for months with bated breath. No circulating aud exists for NYE '81 and many have commented on how flat the board sounds...as for the Warfield show the Hogan aud on LMA is raspy and baddly in need of an upgrade....all of this commentary coming from a concerned and avid kouky fan! Much love on the Merri Post seed- Jake. |

The greeks 83 are great but I don't know the mic info but are different than other sources I've listened to, so with the new set up that you have working Chris it would be worth it, I will say that the 5.14 (saturday 1st set) is missing. As for the Warfield 83, same deal no mic info and of the 6 sets I think I have 4.
And I think.....the NYE 81 FOB Matt Field nak 100 is up next. ????
As for me look a deluge of fresh transfers of JGB 82-83 MSC > DAT to hit the site staring with Chico 3.17.82 tonight.

| Wow Chris this sounds great, the iZotope is the way to go. This was accually recorded inside the pavillion, just behind the board they crammed us all in the last 3 rows and there were lots more rigs outside. The first night I was outside and the second night I scored a tix inside. Great show well played they fell a little flate post drums, Where's the Jerry ballad? but made up for it with two encores. |

Thank you Neo,
I have 4 of the sources you mentioned and I must agree with you. I like this one best as well.
Nice one, Todd |

| Definitely different from the Oade source as their rig was situated on the lawn. But under the pavillion itself always struck me as not very good sounding unless you were really close. Appreciate the UP! Lots of sources are great to have! |
