| This is my very first seed so hopefully everything works out okay (I'm sure y'all will let me know if not;-) A taper buddy of mine who has taped for 30 or so years gives me a lot of master clones that I'm sure have never been circulated to anyone except our circle of friends. Lots or rare stuff that I'll be seeding now that I have the hang of it. This show absolutely smokes, one of my top 10 for sure. There was only 1 other taper there and I've never seen this show circulated so I belive you can call this one "uncirculated". Enjoy! |

I have literally waited since the night of this show for a copy of this. It was my very first Meters show, and it was my first date with my now-girlfriend. This show has MAJOR sentimental value to both of us. I thought I'd never see it. MANY thanks!

Oh, I forgot to ask, did the taper also get the opening act this night, Robert Randolph? That would be sweet as well!

I don't think he taped the RR show but I'll definitely ask. Glad you like the recording. We thought it turned out great as well. Twas indeed an epic night....Meters reunion in their own backyard, pretty much a must-have for any fan of old-school funk.

| Thanks for posting this! I had such a great time at this show and hoped tapes would surface. I'm surprised that the sound quality is as good as it is since this was recorded in what is basically a warehouse. |

I remember I saw you setting up to tape. I figured they would allowed taping for Robert Randolph but was thinking he wont be able to take The Meters. I went up to talk to you and asked and you said something to the effect of unless someone tells me to take it down.
Thank you for recording this incredible show. I have listened to this many times in the last 5 years. Great job of capturing the magic. The first and possibly last time I ever saw the Meters.
