Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

This and the 4/8 one are the two best "Cautions" of Europe.
5/11's is a little sleeker, slicker, and smoother, 4/8's is a little more volcanic, but they are almost on the same level of quality. |

| This is the one I've been waiting for! As said before this is the Mother of all Dark Stars. Also, I personally like the SBD mix problems at the start of Playin'. I love how it starts out with just Keith's piano and then as the first verse goes along each band member gets dialed in. Then, as if on cue, as Bobby starts to sing "I can't stop for nothin', I'm just playin' in the band" the whole mix comes in and thunders into this amazing show. I never get tired of it. |

if you can believe this, i first downloaded and heard this from gdlive.com - a lesser quality mp3 version, but the show is so amazing, and the sound quality is so perfect, that i still listen to the mp3 version and its beyond description.
this is my favorite of all the europe shows, the sound quality is so deep, rich and solid, and it has that old tape-reel-waver to it that makes it sound antique and so great. |

Haven't been saying thanks on every torrent of this series since some feel thank-you posts are meaningless fluff, but wanted to say... thanks for posting this series of shows! My favorite run, bar none.

Time for some "truth in tracking" standards. They play Dark Star for 13:35, Drums for 4:03 then go back into Dark Star for 29:34. The longest uninterrupted Dark Star is 12-06-73, at 43:27, or 18 seconds longer than the total darkstarring this night.
Good show, btw |
