Thanks for the effort as always Nakguy! If this sounds anything like Woodlands I'm sure my ears will be pleased.

Don't listen to people and their rants, makes about as much sense as the person who threw a plastic beer bottle at Dave after Chilly the other night.

I guess I'm old enough to remember having to wait months to get a show on tape....not hours on CD. Be grateful folks, and shut the hell up.

Tapers rule.

Thanks again,

Ryan

Thanks! I appreciate the quick turnaround. I am sure this will be Bonzer!

<<don't you just love bt.etree. People could give a flying crap about the music, but if your text file isn't right ... you're a dick or a noob.

If you're gonna bust nakguy for his textfiles, you damn well better have recorded, converted and loaded as many shows from the sweet spot as he has and turned them around as fast as he has. Otherwise, blow.>>

I'll recant my statements about missing tracks - d1t02 has the middle/end of Pigeons > Weight of the World and d1t10 has Shoes on Tight > Pigeons. The text file is correct for all intents and purposes, the songs are just all over the place.

As I said earlier, I appreciate nakguy's efforts in having this show with such a short turnaround. However, such turnaround appears to be an effort to be "first" rather than "right." I'd rather wait a week, month - whatever it takes - to have the show tracked out correctly and grab that version than d/l a show where I have to retrack a large portion of the show. I made the original post to warn others who might have the same feeling. Perhaps everyone enjoys d/l'ing a show and then reconstructing the whole thing, but I'm not one of them.

I feel uncomfortable replying to someone that complains about free cake. But, I will. It takes mics, recorder, pre (sometimes optional), ticket, and time making sure someone isn't knocking your gear into a beer-covered cement floor. Víola. Cake is served.

Thanks for the lesson. It's not like I don't know several tapers and have helped them block when they go FOB or told idiots around them to shut up. I've seen what it takes to go from start to finish, but it seems that most of the folks I know try to get the tracking done correctly. That didn't happen here.

I hate free cake that is poorly made.
ilikeyoubetty 2007-03-27 15:50:52
any thoughts that may have started to form on tracking dissolved and/or were swallowed by the sounds of schools' bass during the intro to parsons. i haven't looked for them ever since.
fantastic recording and i am trying to visualize buying you a cold beer as i type this. thanks for taping!!!

nugtmunchr 2007-03-27 21:35:11
Man dont know what the problem is but that is the worst recording/editing job ever!! The track splits are awful my WOTW cuts in 3 min after track starts they spilt good people into 2:30 and the jam as a separate track wtf.... Oh yeah and d2t6 doesnt even work....! Ive always appreciated the music! anyone else see these problems?
nugtmunchr 2007-03-27 21:39:23
I withdraw my previous statement for fear of being hounded.... However i am with the captain id rather wait to have it done right.... (although ive never encountered these problems with my entire archive)

ALL I KNOW IS WHEN I SEE A NAKGUY RECORDING, I DL IT! He puts killer pulls out every tour. Thanks, I love the Milab mics, they realy sound great. Just when I thought I had my fall/winter 2006 tours, burned, archived, and stored, they startup again. Thanks for all you and the other tapers efforts. WSP tapers get it done, best group of tapers IMHO.
