|Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading.
|I love recording outdoors...the schoeps were set-up ORTF/fob/center and about 25'-30' from stage ORTF @ 12' - 13' high. I used the larger windscreens. I ran these directly into my Apogee min-me.
The depth and separation is just splendid. It was an ideal day to record music outside!
The resulting recording blows away the mono matrixed sbd that I recorded with my tascam.
The schoeps ccm 41's sound notably better in the open meadow compared to the wooded amphitheater. Therefore, sbd patch was the source for most sets on the amp stage.
|COOL thanks K!
|Wow, Thanks for this Freeborn_man. This one of my 2 fav bands (the other is The Duhks) Correct me if I am wrong, weren't there sound problems at this stage throughout the festival? This & Magfest are the 2 best festivals of all. Did you get the "CROOKED-DUHKS" set on the last day. I did a handheld video & have not had a chanc to look at it yet. It was worth the 1800 mile roundtrip. Leaving in 10 days for Wanee.
|Oh, forgot to ask----what else did you get? Also, was Travis there. I forgot to look.
|sound was good. any sound problem was fleeting
|ah, yes, the sbd feed had some issues/problems. Thursday the feed was clipping (and the lead deck cut on Ollabelle); Friday there was a minor hummmzzzzzz. And this is why I ran the Schoeps...
|This is a great band, thanks for recording and sharing, sir!
(shout out to KC Groves of Uncle Earl for telling me about Crooked Still and the Duhks)
|Just finnished download. Sounds great & the pics are great also. THANKS. I hope you got some Ollabelle also.
|wow, the the inbetween patter by Aoife is loud & audible also. Most live shows I have downloaded , you can't hear what is being said without turning the volumn WAYYYYYYY up. Thanks again F_M
|You DA MAN, Freeborn_Man!
