Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Unless somebody was pulling a stealth job, this is the only recording from Tuesday nights show by The Decemberists at Meymandi Concert Hall in Raleigh. This is a great room for music and and with the crowd being respectful (for the most part they actually listened to the music and STFU).... the recording turned out quite good.
Enjoy..... RD |

| Thanks for the seed, Robbie. Did you happen to record My Brightest Diamond? |
| RDunn |
2007-04-06 00:07:37 |
Sorry but I didn't record My Brightest Diamond. After their set I wished I had.... but it was too late at that point.
Anybody had a chance to critically listen to this recording yet? I thought it turned out nice, but am curious to what others think. |

| I haven't had a chance to listen yet, but since you asked, there are many very favorable comments about the recording among fans at the Decemberists message board. You've made a lot of people very happy with this unique show. |

I'm glad to hear that so many people are enjoying my recording from Raleigh, NC. It was my first time seeing The Decemberists live and I was glad to get to see this special show. For those who have downloaded the recording and need cd art, the following link will take you to a pdf file for the art I put together.

Enjoy..... Robbie
PS The original recording I made was at 24 bit. This burned to DVD-audio is very crankable! |

| Hey Robbie any chance of 24 bit files being seeded or thrown up on Archive? Nice recording. |
| RDunn |
2007-04-07 01:17:45 |
| I didn't know if there would be enough interest in 24 bit files to do a bit torrent.... Maybe I'll try to upload them to LMA this weekend. |

| Great show. I listened to this the other day, and it definitely deserves a DL. Outstanding quality and an incredible performance. Makes me that much more irritated that I missed them at the Strathmore Music center a few weeks ago...I can't find that show anywhere. |
