Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

Thanks!

The '89 tour was a memorable one...Thanks!!!
Sonic_Curmudgeon 2007-05-01 20:44:35
hooooo... how I second that request for Alpine '87, especially 6/26 (first of 3). used to have an aud tape.... very unique china > rider w/ brent on the sax and the transition eyes > drums w/ the swarm of whales.... the version w/ the naks at archive/etree is all chopped up, doeesn't do these shows justice.

plenty happy w/ some nice aud!!

Thank You :)
alpine7784 2007-05-02 23:06:13
I've never seen boards of Alpine 1987 in the twenty years since the shows went down.

patrickterrapin 2007-05-24 10:04:46
I've got 6-27-87 on disk and I'm pretty sure it's a SBD. Working on a complete Alpine Valley (all 20 shows played there) Grateful Dead package or collection and I'm getting extremely close ... just need a few more shows to finish. I will upload it eventually ... will try to get the 6-27-87 Alpine show up sooner than that though. ((((Grateful Dead @ Alpine Valley in the 1980's))))
rangri 2007-08-03 23:12:45
Oh how I wish the boards from 87 AND 88 Alpine would magically appear some day. It's like my Holy Grail.....
I went to 87, 88 and 89. Loved them all, but 87 was great because it was before the crowds came from Touch of Grey - which I think was first run on MTV around July 6th?

stoph7 2008-02-14 20:52:42
I just want to thank you, whoever you are who is seeding for me... I just went looking for this show, having collected the rest of the Alpine run from 89, I salute you for hang on.... don't know how I missed this when it was new... Thank you.
