Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

| Thanks for the source! FYI--I didn't look at track lengths (which are a dead giveaway) before naming the tracks, so I found out the hard way--there are two tracks of crowd between sets, and the second set requires about a 3 sec. overburn, IF you include the crowd track at the beginning. Good sounding AUD--thanks again. |

I have been looking for this show for 14 years. I search etree for Garcia every couple of weeks for the last two years looking for this show. This was the night where Jerry did what he had to do to get me in for life. I had seen the GD for the first time the summer before this at Rich Stadium and had limited exposure to the JGB. After this night, hate to say it, but JGB became my preference. Somewhere during the Don't Let Go-> Lucky Old Sun my head split open and I spent some time up in the rafters looking down on myself and my friends. Once this is done downloading I am going to set myself up in my music listening chair with a Jack and Coke, a smoke and have a very Jerry evening.
Thank You to all tapers
Thank You Jerrry |

| I'll ask again ... are these 44.1k files, or 48k? |

| seems like 44.1k jjoops |

| Nope, just finished my download. Again, these are 16 bit, 48k. Can anyone who understands such things tell me whether these are burnable as CD without downsampling to 44.1k? I assume not, but just want to check. |

jjoops - I did some research on burning 48k files straight to CD today, as I'm curious as well, but couldn't find a definitive answer. Only that it is ADVISED one burns them at 44.1k. Also came across that 48k is ideal for video. I'm a technical dumbass, though, so I'm sure someone can shed better light on this.
I have half a mind to download this fileset (which I was going to do anyway - so thanks!) and give it a go, just to see what happens. If you've already done so, jjoops, please share your results. |
