AUD Source: Schoeps CMC3/MK4 (ORTF) > Oade mic power supply > Casio DA-7
(lead deck) > Coax SPDIF > Casio DA-7 (first deck out) > Sony DT-Dat tape.
Mics on 7-foot stand in front row of OTS.
Transfer: MAD > Sony TCD-D10P > Coax SPDIF > Audiophile 2496 > Soundforge
(at 48kHz) > CD-Wave > R8Brain v1.9 (downsample to 44.1kHz) > TLH > FLAC.
Taped and transferred (May 2007) by Andrew F.
Notes:
- The band's sound system was not loud enough at this concert.
- Some loud feedback (Jerry's guitar) during Watchtower.
- Soundforge used to make fades.
- TLH used for SBE-OK, FLAC compression, and making checksums.
- Discs two and three can be rejoined seamlessly onto longer media.

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

| Thank you! I'm not big on post 1991 Dead, but I was at this show and I remember it being a pretty good one. Set one really shines, especially the Black Throated Wind; Bob really goes over the top on this version. |

| Thanks for all the seeds. However, do you really need to seed both a 44.1 and the 48? I say just upload the 48khz versions..it's not real hard for people to figure out how to resample if they want to put it on CD AND we'd get more of your great tapes quicker. |

| Allright, I have had a chance to listen to most of the first set and it is just as hot as I remember it being that night. Do yourself a favor and grab this one! Great energy from the band and crowd (nice roar when the Stranger jam takes off) and Jerry really lays into "Train to Cry." |

the entire first set is outstanding. jerry's MIDI solo in ramblin' rose is probably the best i've ever heard . . . bobby goes bananas in BT Wind as already mentioned . . . let it grow has a drawn out spacey feel to it.
excellent show from an otherwise mediocre tour. |

| "do you really need to seed both a 44.1 and the 48" Actually, it only adds about one hour of work to create the 44.1k seed, so it's not a big deal. Mainly, I make it for myself, since I listen to shows in the car. I also figured that there will always be folks who stay married to older media, like LP lovers and cassette freaks... |

thanks a lot nfagdtrfb-- i appreciate the 44.1 version-- while not "married" to older technology-- i do like to listen to the Cds in the car also--
and from the looks of it-- there are a bunch of other folks who are diggin on the 44.1 version also--thanks again |
