***first few seconds of both sets missing from my recording. this was the first show of the 93 summer tour, and i know the band came out to the stage 'on time', and startled everybody, including the tapers. i checked around for a complete copy of this show before circulating this one, but found nothing.***

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those

| This was a really fun show to start the tour, and kind of (but not really) a hometown show for me and the rest of the Ithaca crew. There was a slow line to get in and they started promptly so I came in during the middle of Sample and it was still pretty empty. This show was crazy dusty and everyone made face masks with their t-shirts. I got drunk on Crazy Horse 40's- do they still make that stuff? This was a fun, but really long summer tour. I was spent but happy by the time we got to Berkeley at the end of August. |

this is ridiculous......the ratio's for the top three leeches are less than .350 COMBINED!!!!!!! WTF
its not sharing if you ratio is that low!!!!!
We have two options...forward your ports or wait until there are a few completes to jump on to the torrent.
For those of you who have forwarded your ports, thank you for making it easier to share with all of you....as for the others, forward yer ports or ask for help. I don't like uploading 2.5 gigs on a torrent of less than 800 Mb's and still have the torrent without any completes. Thanks for reading...enjoy the show |

| whoops, this torrent is almost a gig, I think I was thinking of the 10-12-90 show I just put up...either way seeding 1.00 copies of the show is really all that is needed, anything else is just a waste. - End rant |

if you wont forward your ports or ask how to, the least you guys can all do is leave your windows open until you've uploaded at least twice the amount you've downloaded.
I don't seed shows, but its a rule of mine that I leave every window open until Ive uploaded at least twice as much as I've downloaded, especially if the torrent is going slow.
question though: Say my window is uploading at like, 300kb/s, does that mean everyone else is downloading as fast as I am uploading? Or does that 300kb/s get spread out, where if theres only 2 people downloading from me, they're each going at 150kb/s, etc. |

Go to download page (where you grab the torrent) and click on the # of seeds or leeches and see peer list. This will show you how many people are seeding and leeching as well as what they're speeds and ratio's are as well. You ip number (if you are on the torrent) will appear in red. You will see total kb/s totals at the bottom of the seeding and leeching columns. Thats the total avaliable bandwidth of the torrent. As for splitting that bandwidth it doesnt always split evenly. All things being equal it may split evenly but all things are, people have different speed and hardware as well as various other random stuff that can get in the way. The goal with torrents as was said above is to share 1.000, anymore than that is great, but just give back as much as ya take. Hope that helps |
