Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

I have updated the db entry with the fixes and new FFP file (while retaining the old information for reference). it's all here:

I keep getting the message " got bad file info - path . DS_Store disallowed for security reasons" this is the only show in the db I get this message from, as I have several dl's going at once. any help?
morst 2007-06-14 22:04:26
DS_Store is an invisible file for the Mac OS, I thought that would not be included in the torrent but maybe it is!? OOps, I know it's unncessary, I hope it doesn't prevent you from getting the fileset!
upfrontphan 2007-06-15 14:31:57
Thanks for the response, I appreciate it. I'll try to get the show from another computer, the one I'm on says no go. Thanks for the upload!
arzjr 2007-06-15 19:30:39
I don't understand the "master cassette swap" comment. Is there a cut / splice during Faht?

I hope not

morst 2007-06-15 20:31:32
Sorry about the bogus DS_store file, I guess I need to use a different program to create my torrents. It's been so long since I made a torrent that I forgot the correct procedure!!

Faht is complete, as is HYHY outtro. There is a short break during the applause between them. If I didn't swap the master cassette for a third tape at that point, I would have had to cut later. As it worked out, I probably could have kept the HYHU outtro with the FAHT and swapped before the YEM, but I had to make the choice on the fly, and I felt like I had a moment so I did the move.

(I originally posted this on torrent of the SHN version of this fileset, with Sector Boundaries not yet aligned: http://bt.etree.org/details.php?id=15008 )

Forbin's narration

6:20
Trey:. . .and while you stand here, you can feel something strange starting to happen out there in the crowd. Around the room, everything is sunk in to our knees, everybody is starting to feel a little bit wobbly here. .. a little bit. . . kinda loose. . ooo. . . oohoooohh. . .
You can feel it, ya know, eveyone is starting to feel a, a little looser, so anyway, we're turning into. . . geletin or something. Everyone's flesh is starting slowly, and you can feel it, everyone's flesh is starting to turn into softer and softer geletin, and sinking and turning. I see everybody out in the crowd starting to slowly sink into a pile of goo on the floor.
7:07
The whole audience, we're all starting to sink into a pile of goo and then as we are led(?) down on the ground everyone is starting to turn into . . . LIQUID!
7:18
That's right, we're all sinking back, because most people, people are made up mostly of water anyway. As we're standing here we're all slowly turning into water, and just dripping down onto the ground until there's nothing left except water all over the ground. All of the people are gone, and slowly the water is starting to sink into the floorboards.
7:38 The water's sinking into the floorboards, but it's not really water, it's a little bit thicker than water so it is sitting in sort of a congealed lump, and come with us now as the water is sinking down into the floorboards, down, dripping off the. . . thing into into the basement
(plop plop)
7:58
drops of water puddle on the basement now the water is starting to sink through, it's sinking through the cement in the basement and it's going into the dirt and we're all starting to sink and be turned to liquid, and we're
sinking into the dirt and we're starting to get caught up into the ground and the ground water below and little underwater streams are taking us, and suddenly we find ourselves emptying out into the. . . MIGHTY MISSISSIPPI RIVER!!
(8:24)
We're in the Mississippi River and we've joined with it, and the current is starting to make us go backwards and forwards. . . whooah whooaah waves are going by whooaah and we're getting, we're getting sucked down the Mississippi River. We're all going down the Mississippi River and as we go, it's getting bigger and bigger- other rivers coming into it whooo, the wave as it starts to get bigger it starts to get whooo

it gets bigger and we're going farther and farther down
pass through Arkansas
pass, uh, Clinton's home and all that stuff and he's waving
"Oh there they go, whoahh"

And we're going down and suddenly we start to smell cajun cooking and all of as sudden we realize that we're going through New Orleans, ah! Uhp! And there goes New Orleans and the next thing you know we empty out into the Gulf of Mexico, and we start to sink into the water. . .
9:26
and were sinking down into the water and somehow miraculously staying in one congealed clump of liquid, so we're all sinking down the water and as we sink down we see a coral reef start to go by and a big school of fishes coming up and sticking their noses at us, and we're underwater and we're sinking down lower and lower and lower and deeper and as it gets deeper, it starts to get darker. . . it's getting darker and all we can see is kind of a green haze, a green haze.
10:01
And now we're getting deeper and deeper and deeper and we start, we're so deep now that we're that we're going by a big thing of lava . . .RED LAVA!
Fishman: "and then a submarine, a big submarine could come by, a big submarine"
Trey: What?
(PING)
. . .red lava. . . Oh! a submarine goes by
Fishman: A big submarine goes by!
(PING, PING)
Trey:
And we're sinking deeper and deeper as a submarine goes by and the submarine starts disafying into the surface, into the distance, and it's getting really dark now and cold, it's cold 'cause we're so deep and we're all liquid and we see, we see a HUGE EEL, a huge yellow eel coming out towards us. . .

And the next thing you know, off in the distance, off in the distance we see a mouth of a cave and we're getting so cold now, we're so deep now that we start to go into the cave. We go into the cave you can hear bubbles coming (gurgggle) . . . We're in the cave and we start to swim upwards in a cave trying to see where it's gonna take us and as we get up higher and higer we start to break through, and now this clump of water is floating on the surface in this cave and it's this whole other place, and we step up onto the shore. And as we step up onto the shore we all start to congeal back into human beings. And now the whole group of people is walking up onto the shore of this cave and are walking forwards through the cave and start to see that the cave opens up into a whole different land, and there's green grass heading out into the distance. And we start to walk across the grass, and the fields going on forever and we're staying together in a clump, because it seems like there's a lot of people in the room here, but now that we're in this other land, it's so vast that it really doesn't seem like that many people anymore. So we're walking across this green field, and over in the distance we see a RHOMBUS go by. . . And we realize that. . . we must be . . . IN GAMEHENDGE!!!
12:08
We somehow ended up in Gamehendge, and as we walk closer but we can't see anything, cause there's a huge forest in front of us and luckily as we're walking along we see an enormous plank and we walk up and we stand on the edge of the plank and the whole group of people is all huddled together on the edge of this plank and the plank is going off into the distance, and the plank is leaned over an enormous log. . . and we're all on the end of it, and suddenly this mocking bird flies up over our head with a huge boulder, and he drops the boulder!
(woo, shh, shhhhhh pmmm)
And we go flying up into the air, and we reach the top of the thing and we start falling . . . falling down, and suddenly our parachutes open . . .
(Poof)
And now, we're floating down over Gamehendge and now from up here we can see, we can see the forest going off in that direction over there as far as the eye can see, the huge forest, and the castle, rising up out of the forest, of Evil King Wilson, and behind us the green field, and over far in the distance in the other way we see a huge mountain rising out of the forest, the biggest mountain you have ever seen and we look closer we see, on the side of the mountain, a tiny little speck, and it's a man and he's climbing up the mountain, and we know that it's Colonel Forbin.

And Colonel Forbin is climbing up the mountain to find the great and knowledgeable Icculus, and he's going to find the great and knowledgeable Icculus and Icculus is going to send the famous mockingbird who just dropped a boulder on us to the castle of the evil King Wilson to steal the Helping Friendly Book, bring it to the lizard people of Gamehendge thereby restoring peace and harmony throughout Gamehendge once and for all

So here he comes now flying out of the sky to land on Icculus' shoulder. . .
THE FAMOUS MOCKINGBIRD!

I missed the bus on this one and would love to archive this source. I also intend on a reseed as a surprising number of people in the community failed to snag it. If you have this source in its flac format please email me at discocape@yahoo.com and I will make it worth your while. Here's my phish list if you need some food for thought
