Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

It's going to be more Grateful Dead. Cletus or EndTheWarNOW should give the next clues. I already let the cat out of the bag that we're going to start in a couple of days after all....

Well, let's see. It has to be a period of time. If so, it would have to then be before or after 1973. Unless it is the Donna Jean project featuring only shows where Donna sings her own songs off key. Or the "drugs are bad" project where we seed only shows where one or more band members are obviously strung out on addictive drugs and have no idea what they are doing. My favorite project idea was the "what were those lyrics again?" project where we alternate between shows where Bobby blows the lyrics to one or more songs and Jerry blows the lyrics to one or more songs. We would have a contest where the first person to catch the bomb (per song) gets 10 points etc. Anyway, I almost got voted off the island for being negative so I guess it is back to that year thing again. But we could always do the seed every show that has "miller" in the lineage. That would be OK. Right???

Always with the chronological.
How 'bout "The Canonical Winterland Project" or "The Red Rocks Runs" or "The Hottest Shows Played in Stadiums which have also Hosted World Cup Matches" or "The Upstate (NY) Mind-Blowers."

72 year project would be steller. thanks again guys for the seeds!!!

I like it that a guy who's name is a ratio is complaining about chronological grouping ;)

How about all the shows at which I was tripping my ass off?

How 'bout '74 right into the hiatus, keep the flow going. It was great to listen to '73 right on the heels of jbyrd's '72 project. Liked hearing the evolution. Seriously, anything will be appreciated and consumed

I will say this: That the 73 "project" happened was an accident. You can pretty much thank SteveSw for that. If it weren't for him, it would've been just me seeding all by my lonesome, and I might have switched gears to something else! That EndTheWarNow had time and desire was a double bonus to us all. And let's also not forget that flowmaster did a great 73 project here about a year-year-and-half ago. Now, with regard to 1974....

Of course I'm not complaining - I'm sure you know that. However you wanna slice it's fine with me. "Shows in which Naked Hippies Snuck Past Security and Ran Across the Stage." I'd download that.
Thanks... |
SteveSw

THe problem with the Naked Hippies is, the ones you want to see naked never are, it's always the ones you desperately want not to see.... Besides: we're not doing video here yet, are we?

Or how bout the year that the boys were the Just Exactly Perfect Brothers Band that Stevesw obviously alluded to that went over like 10 peoples head? :) Thanks for 73 and this encore!!1

Well, we've changed our mind a couple of times in the past few days. Cletus wanted to share all the sources he got when he bought that second box of tapes at the Betty Cantor storage bin auction auction back in the day -- yeah, he was that guy. EndTheWarNOW wanted us to share all the shows in which Bobby told a Yellow Dog joke. I favored share by-state projects, starting with Ohio. But we've come up with a fifth plan, which is what we'll do.
