Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

i also shot video of both wolfmother and the stripes. cant wait to share. i will get this and if its better than my 4v source and the taper is into it, i will either matrix or use this altogether!

| pay no attention to the haters... if you are taping shows in exchage for praise or love - you are in for a disspointment. The only reason to tape is to share the music. If people download the set - mission accomplished. If they want to be dicks and hate... that's THEIR problem. don't worry about ratings and stars and comments. |

stober...it beats my scheosp 4v tape! i wasnt center, sounds like you were. i will be emailing you cause i DO want to use your source for this for the stripes dvd i will be putting together. THIS RECORDING ROCKS! any fluctuations of this was due to the substandard PA and not so smokin sound guy!

I have this show recorded as well. My sound levels are consistent . . . but consistently far away. I appreciate the upload and I'll check and see which one is better.
I have Tool and Police complete sets, but I can tell you why there's been none of the latter posted yet. The heat was ON as far as recording of any kind at The Police. I saw plenty of mic rigs being removed by security and I was severely scutinized twice. He kept thinking I was trying to film (which I was earlier...youtube quality) with a small, cigarette pack-sized camera and wasn't satisfied until I offered to remove the batteries to prove I wasn't filming.
This allowed me to continue to roll tape with the cheesy Radio Shack unit, but the sound is gonna be very bad at the points when I had to conceal it.
No such trouble with the Tool show. I've finished tracking it out and only have to verify song titles, etc (I managed to snag a set list from crew, but it's off). Special guest star! |

I'm sure there are probably at least a dozen successful pulls of the Police with hi-quality gear, it's just that joe shmoe who only tapes in the open got popped.
