Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

| pretty good sounding audience - not too distant sounding as is the problem with aud's from large stadiums. no other audience recordings listed in the db for this performance and only a single db entry for an analog sbd. performance is (for me at least) < ehhh/> - i just can't take the vince songs on this show and all the other cheezy synth patches on new songs - makes me feel like watching who's the boss and full house. and i'm a diehard 90s freak. drums is killer though and comes in at over 16 minutes. |

Thanks!
This show features the most lame "Shakedown" ever performed, IMO. "Samson & Delilah", though, sounds pretty cool, and as someone else here mentioned, the Drums/Space is pretty interesting. |

I had a fun time at this show.
Is there a new source coming for the Buffalo show a week prior to this one? I'd be interested in that one too.
Thanks. |

| My girlfriend at the time said at the end of Drumz "That was the first good thing they did all night". Needless to say, this show didn't make her a fan and had me doubting if it was worth driving the 3 hours for. |

| While we're in E.Rutherford, any chance someone would be into seeding 8/4/94? I know there is a good sbd source out there, I have set2 sbd on cassette but db only lists the DAUD source (8729) as having circulated. Many thx! |

i have bill's tapes from the following night coming up soon and also i have the steve miller band sets from the same rig transferred - i'm not sure where to post those. you know a show is running on 3 wheels when everyone is raving about Drums, though the locomotive sample crazy '92 drums > spaces are really great.

We always felt there were 4 types of shows
1. Good Show/Good Tape
2. Good Show/Bad Tape
3. Bad Show/ Bad Tape
4. Bad Show/Good Tape
This is catagory 4. |

Believe it or not I enjoyed this show at the time when I was there.
I did like the Vince songs at the time even though I never thought he held a candle to Brent. I remember The shakedown street was first played on the summer tour that year and that tour as well was the first tour with Vince on his own without Hornsby. I remember I really liked the Desolation Row from that night. Samson was cool. Let's face it, it was an average show for the Dead, after Brent died and Hornsby left, most of the shows except for the Fall of 93 were average at best. |

| I share the "ehhh" opinion on this show...well, for most of it, anyway. I was there and it just seemed like Jerry would have rather been anywhere else in the world than on stage that night. It seemed like most of the first set was a struggle until the finally pulled it together for a rockin' Picasso Moon. As Corrina was winding down, Jerry put down his guitar and practically ran offstage, like he couldn't wait for the rythym devils to start. HOWEVER, after Space is a different story. Steve Miller was guesting on guitar and, I don't know if his presence lifted Jerry or of Jerry just downed a pot of coffee backstage (or something else) but the last 30 minutes of the show were pretty spectacular. |

You know the writing is on the wall when it takes Steve Miller to inject life into a Dead show. The next night was pretty good though. |
