Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those

| Is Joanna Newsom taper friendly? I'm interested to know as I've been to a couple of her shows and have the first one she did "Ys" with orchestra, but have not made it generally available on the basis I did not think she was taper frienly, though I'm aware she allowed a video to be made of a show in PA last year. |

Good question Raoul,
I had already circulated the recording locally, and archived it with the channels swapped, and did not feel the need to change it. It seems just as enjoyable this way. I suppose you can chalk it up to my sense of slack. Feel free to change 'em before you burn CD's if you wish, and for that matter feel free to torrent a fixed copy if it pleases you.
As for the "taper friendly" question, I was right next to the mixing board with my mics on a stand, just above head height, and her sound engineer did not give me any indication that she minded me recording. If anyone knows that it's not appropriate to post this here, I am happy to delete the torrent, but I saw another two JN shows posted here, and figured we were 'go'.
And lastly, thanks for the setlist, referential. I added the info to the torrent description. |
