Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Probably my all time favorite Dead show. Just amazing, inspired music from beginning to end. From He's Gone through the end of the show is the Grateful Dead at their finest, IMHO - especially the Spanish Jam -> Eyes. Also, there is some NASTY slide work at the end of Scarlet in Set One... When it comes to these things, it's all very subjective, but if you like '74 Dead, this has got to be in your collection!!
Many, Many Thanks!!!!! |

^^I agree with a lot of that above. Really enjoy the mellow soundcheck jam too!
I hope to seed 7/25/74 at some point in the near future too. |

| The WRS>Spanish Jam is the one that will stick with you from this show, but it also hapopens to have one the great Playin's. Yes, most of the Playin's from this period are superb,m but this one has just the right combo of ingredients to make it one you will return to again and again. |

| Best Grateful Dead show, but I need a break from it for a couple years. I'll revisit it someday, I'm sure. |

Funny, that's how we all feel about you Lew... except the revisiting part. No need. We've had our fill.
Thanks again for the upload!! |

'Heh, the use of the royal we makes me chuckle in light of the unsolicited e-mails I've gotten about how you're a flake.'
You get email Lew? And the 'Live Russian Teens on the Net' ones don't count, you know...
And let's see - who is a 'flake'? I would say the one who writes off every note the band ever played after Spring '79, but hey, that's just me. And if it came down to it, I'd rather be a flake than be loathed by so many... |

| I'm freaking out because I just heard a Slipknot style jam in a '74 show, and I thought I saw a comment on it too, but I cannot figure out which show it was in: 02.22.74? 07.19.74? This is killing me. I've been looking for the note on it, which I thought I read yesterday somewhere in the '74 section. Someone please help me. :( |

| 2/23 and 6/20/74 come to mind, but they teased it a lot in late '73 as well. I just heard one Feb '73 song, but it was a little vague there. Believe it or not, Jerry played a prototype Slipknot lick in a '72 Europe Star, I think it's on 4/14. |
