SHN's created by Greg Hurwitt, phobos@quik.com. Notes on SHN
creation:

I started with seed discs kindly supplied by Stu Hanson from the BUDD
mailing list. Discs were ripped using EAC V0.9pb11 two times and
checksums compared to insure perfect rip.

The following edits were then made using Cool Edit 2000:

- removed four light clicks at t8 5:29
- removed click at t9 2:13
- removed clicks at previous track boundaries

Tracks were split using CD Wave V1.62, and sector boundaries verified
using shntool V1.01. SHN's were created (with seek information
embedded) using mkwACT V0.97b1.

The show was treed via the JFT and GDH-Trading mailing lists in
October 2001.

The following flaws are present on this seed:

- t3 3:45, left channel dropped
- t3 6:58-7:04, right channel dropped
- t3 8:04, digi-static
- t5 0:01, digi-static
- t5 0:38-0:41, left channel dropped
- t8 0:23, very light digi-static
- t9 2:24, distortion
- t10 8:59, very light digi-static

Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

I love old 60's music and I am always looking for avenues to add to my collection. If anyone knows where I can download more music like the airplane from this era it would be greatly appreciated. Thanks for sharing!

shnflac.net ... they have PLENTY of grateful dead as well as lots of other random/60s stuff that i bet you'd be interested in.

this looks very cool, i think i only had some of the JA set. thanks for this!!

Thanks, just got the night before this recently, and I'm always up for (1) different ending on Alligator and (2) any version of Fat Angel!

citidiver, check out www.dimeadozen.org, too. I've pulled stuff ranging from Jethro Tull last Friday night (6 July) to Bill Monroe from 1946, but there are some folks who post some darn good stuff from the late 60s there--Jefferson Airplane, Traffic, Quicksilver Messenger Service, Blind Faith and too much to name.
