Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

Welcome to the 10th Anniversary of the Phish 1997 US Summer Tour. Each show of the Tour will be seeded on its Anniversary day in the next 3 weeks.

Happy Anniversary Listening everyone.

Maybe it was the acid, but I believe Mike was saying "Save your money" as the alternate lyrics for David Bowie.
tomlatham 2007-07-21 09:38:39
Great show. I remember sleeping on a park bench the night of this show all tripped out.
Hbomb1 2007-07-21 10:32:20
The USA chant comes at the end of Gin. If you listen closely, you can hear Fishman makiing James Brown type shout-outs. It is a total funk jam! In fact this may be the definitive moment that eventually leads to 11/17/97 & Hampton days later! At one point, Page has one hand low on the organ and the other tickling the high notes on the grand piano. Incredible! Oh, and thanks ClancyWiggum!

wHAT can I say, Clancy you are the bomb and so is this tour - My absolute favorite. Even the off nights are incredable.

This Ghost is so hot. I remember My emotions distinctly while trying to grasp how rediculous they could jam all of the sudden. It was as if all of my phish dreams were coming true before my very eyes. That night I remember saying "they couln't possibly funkin jam like that all tour".
I really believed it untill second set the following night when I pretty much lost My Mind! in a good way....
jdmatt68 2007-07-21 11:48:53
thanks chief wiggum! protect and serve....
WALTMON 2007-07-21 13:02:17
First US Ghost is a smoker! Like 20 mins If I remember.

Also the 2nd set was pretty unique with the horn player from Dave Mathews coming out and Trey started giving him multiple horns to play, Mike played several bases, Page was playing 4 keyboards at once...

Magilla was rare, and Bowie kicked butt....great first show of tour for sure...

tomlatham 2007-07-21 17:55:47
I know this is random but I remember that Fishman wasn't wearing his usual frock.. He was dressed in nice balck pants and a black button-down.
97phunkaddict 2007-07-21 19:10:50
He was dressed like The late Great JB.
runawaybob 2007-07-21 19:34:43
The Bathtub Gin has a full blown Drowned Jam. Great show top to bottom.
