his rants are getting quite old....to the point that it interferes with the songs. I'm not saying i agree with his G.W. rants, and even the other band members look like they are growing tired of them too, but for AT&T to censor him is crossing the line.
If he thinks he could do a better job, he should run for office, but until then....ed...please just sing the songs! |

"God, I so tune out when Eddie starts in on his Dubya bashing...Zzzzzzzzzzzzzz...I'm no fan of Bush but I so get tired of celebs knocking things they have no idea of."
so by your standards, anyone not actually involved in this administration doesn't deserve an opinion? If you choose to remain apathetic in the face of arguably the worst administration EVER, that's your right but you know Eddies gonna talk about it onstage and he's earned the right so if you don't like it, don't go. What? Just because he's a rock star means he's uninformed? Personally, I could handle a few less deer-eyed, drunken, opinionless celebs like Lohan/Hilton. GET INVOLVED!!! IT'S YOUR OBLIGATION AS AN AMERICAN. |

Bring on the Bush rants I say!!!!!!! Ed is an intelligent, politically engaged guy.... There is more to his life than 3 minute rock-n-roll songs.. Don't like it, GO HOME!
Speak up!! Musicians should speak up. The jesters of our day! Use the platform.. Wake all you fucking drones up!!!!
Great angry Ed show.. McCready goes NUTZ all night!!!! |

thank you for running gear, this is a great sound and a good show.
i also wish that more artists took a position, and attempted to effect our society beyond their music. they have a ton of power, if you (the people) would listen. he's not out to trick anyone, we have a major environmental problem now (apart from the great lakes)
anyways, i was surprised that AT&T muted this part of the video (youtube it)
thanks again, you rock! |

| AT&T can censor whatever they want as they are providing the bandwidth. Don't agree with them doing that but its their show. |

Its a little late to dog on Ed for political ranting, he's only been doing it since '91.
I am a huge PJ fan to the point where PJ albums are in many ways the soundtrack to my life, and I've never seen completely eye-to-eye with Ed politically. You don't have to either.
But...
For anyone to suggest that he in any way is uninformed is just simply wrong...or uninformed. He's on top of the issues that matter to him. In my opinion, it 's irresponsible for someone who has the audience that Ed does to not make an effort to mobilize people around things they believe in. We Americans are so damn passive about everything that matters that we need the folks who care to raise enough hell that we start caring....and I am personally glad that someone like Ed is not leaving it to just the media machine to get us excited...even if I differ with him sometimes.
If you don't want your music politicized - you definitely don't want to listen to PJ ever again. You should stick with American Idol and Green Day. |

Thanks for the show!
This one is moving extremely slow, so if anyone could jump on and help out it would be much appreciated! |
