Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Thanks again!
And thanks for adding track numbers, though I had no problem with your style before. |

| Thanks so much!!! The Fluffhead and Taste are also incredible. The only Charleston show I don't have is the elusive 11.10.91Music Farm....anyone? I don't count the opening gig at Myskins the year prior as a full show(opened for widespread)..anyone???? |

| IMO... sad to say phish ever opened for widespread. I know everybody gets along but thats backwards. |

I've never put in a WSP tape that I didn't take it back out again after roughly 2.5 songs. They are a uniquely 2-dimensional band, and as such, boring as hell.
I taped and enjoyed this Charleston Phish show. Glad to see it so highly regarded.
And as for that Music Farm show in '91, my best friend was the bar manager there at the time...but guess what, we were at JGB in Charlotte that night. Apparently the Phish show was poorly attended because all the heads went to see Jerry. (Lucky for them it would be the reverse after 8/9/95.) I'd also like to see the Columbia, SC show from '90 emerge. One wonders if these rare shows are in the Phish vault. |

| BTW I didn't mean to imply that this source is my tape. I just meant I ALSO taped the show that night. Sorry. |

i may have to get this one. i got a tape labeled as 11-27-96 long ago, thinking i was getting the diseezer, only to find it was this. never listened to it, but it looks like it could be an interesting fall 96 show.
that would be crazy to see phish at the music farm, especially if the joint was empty.
i hate to be so negative, but it also saddens me that phish opened for, or was opened for by widespread panic. it saddens me deeply. i hate to see my favorite band, phish, be associated with one of the absolute worst bands ive ever heard. |

| your preference in music is just your personal taste and opinion. similar to food, in my mind... i hate to see the thread on this up turn into a bashing of any band. save that for the chat rooms or discussion groups. enjoy this show, it's a good one. 10/31/96 coming next, and ~in my opinion~ it is the definitive source! |

to get away from the band bashing--heres a little story:
i was taking a girl to this show i had just started dating. she was a very nice girl, and was a little uncomfortable about attending a big phish concert. i had 10th row seats, which made her even more uncomfortable. i promised we would have a good time, and that me and my friends would be perfect gentlemen. quite a stretch for my buddy Pete. i made him promise to be on his best behavior for me. "This is big Pete, you gotta be cool, if you dont itll freak this girl out; and i really like her."
Well, true to form, Pete gets wasted. After setbreak, the lights go down, and the girl starts acting weird. It only took a moment for me to figure out what was wrong>>
Pete had pulled his pants down, and was PEEING on the seats in front of him! The girls in front couldnt figure out why their legs were getting splattered, for some reason they never did turn around.
It took me quite a while to convince the girl to go back out with me...her and Pete never really did get along that well :)
Shes long gone, and Petes still my boy, regardless of his peeing behavior. some friends you just have to excuse.
If anyone bashes Panic again on this thread, Im going to tell another story about Pete and his urinating ways. Sorry to threadjack, but we dont need no Panic bashing here.
Thanks for the upload, im looking forward to getting a new source of one of my favortie shows! |
