notes/flaws:
-AUD patch in FOTM (5:07 through 5:37) due to reel flip in SBD source
-other sources either have section missing (5:07 through 5:37 missing) or edited
(4:33 through 5:07 removed + 5:07 through 5:37 missing)
-Scott Clugston performed the much-needed AUD patching

2/3/2006 Seeded to Lossless Legs http://www.shnflac.net/ by Shawn Lucas
Note from seeder: This is simply the version of 3/18/77 that was available at archive.org in the
good old days (http://db.etree.org/shninfo_detail.php?shnid=254) with the exception being that d2t1 through d2t3 are
the Scott Clugston patched versions as noted above. I had to renumber the disc two tracks from Samson through Estimated
because in shnid=254 the tuning (d2t1) was not there. Thus I created a new MD5 file for d2. Enjoy!

Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

Thank you very much!
(Always looking for that "rare and different tune".)
eddietandy 2007-08-15 15:46:35
Glad to help!

Note, the MD5's on disk 2 for d2t4 thru d2t8 are the same used for the original tracking in source 254, d2t3 thru d2t7. The added tuning track for d2t1 in source 79098 just bumped everything down one... hope this makes sense...
Vpete 2007-08-15 16:04:38
If I recall correctly the intro to Not Fade Away is insane!!! As is the transition to St. Stephen. I think this ranks up there as one of the best NFA's IMHO.

eddietandy 2007-08-15 16:16:04
Funny you should say that, I'm listening to that exact passage right now. And yeah, it does it for me. :) It all is just so smooth, the move from Terrapin > Alhambra > Drums > NFA, etc. It also helps that the sound is really kickass.
rustystrings 2007-08-15 16:17:46
nice edit for a complete show.

only alhambra ever live.

fyi all...

(as if you don't have enuf to download at etree)
pcarini 2007-08-15 18:14:46
doesn't this show also include the first ever scarlet>fire??
slucas_2 2007-08-16 01:17:34
First ever scarlet>fire and a rare appearance of it in the first set to boot (only 8 appearances in set I) . This is one of those shows. Should be in everyones collection.
slucas_2 2007-08-16 01:18:29
...oh and first Fire period.
kymule 2007-08-16 15:47:53
Happiness is Drumming!

Let Mickey rap - Diga style! ;-)))

(I vote Scarlet > Fire as one of the best musical creations in history!)
hseamons 2007-08-17 20:56:50
Unique and ripping Sugaree in this one. Great Jerry strings.
hseamons 2007-08-17 21:07:29
Oh, and one of those extra special Peggy-O's. Damn this is a good show!!!!!
uncle_duke77 2007-08-18 00:22:18
Ah, '77 -- 'twas a very good year. Thanks!
dawg440 2007-08-21 19:09:29
How does one get logged onto www.shnflac.net ? I'm guessing I missed the boat again.

mofo313 2008-01-11 13:49:03
Any chance I can get a little help on the seeding here? Thanks in advance!
cwdrum86 2008-08-20 22:20:04
Have gotten to 74.8% and it stops, would GREATLY appreciate it if I had some help seeding. Been looking for this show for a while, Thanks.
