Fix of shnid 2533
I've deleted the overlap in space between CDs 2 and 3, making the transition seamless. I also retracked the entire show, since many of the trackings were off, which led me to the gaps between tracks in most of set I (which I eliminated in Cool Edit 2000). Although it looks unclipped when viewed in CE2K, when you zoom in on the loudest parts you can see the truncated peaks and valleys indicative of clipping - if the source info is correct then it probably happened during taping, in the DAT deck's A/D conversion process, not in the transfer (though I don't know from DATs - I use a laptop myself). Overall, it's still pretty decent sounding. There are also three very good AUD sources on archive.org, so make sure to check those out as well.
Jim Mahoney's FOB recording (shnid 21648) supplies the first few seconds of Around & Around.

Known flaws:
-frequent clipping until last verse of I Know You Rider
-sudden dropoff in volume (~2 db) at end of "March wind gonna blow all my troubles away" (d2t03) - presumably the taper suddenly noticed the clipping and corrected the recording volume.

Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

| Wow. This sounds so nice. What a joy to listen to. Thanks for uploading this show and CM for transferring it. Really nice '91 performance. Thanks again! |

2007-08-30 13:38:09 |
Again, this is not a CM transfer. That's the next night. All things considered, though, it does not sound too bad.
I'll forever remember this as the show where a completely naked man attacked my friend, Dylan after telling him we were "the troublemakers from way back." If anyone remembers the ambulance parked by the side of the stage with it's lights rolling for the last two songs of the first set, that's where security took that dude after they tackled his ass. |

I don't remember the ambulance lights, but I do remember the rain . . . and seeing Jimi Hendrix on the side of a VW bus blasting some Jimi right after the show . . . well, at least I was pretty sure of both of them at the time . . . was a long fun trip.
gearfab, we can forgive you your troublemaking if you keep sharing these shows! |

| I had 11th row for this show . great night Does anyone remember the chain of balloons that was passed down the front section of seats till it got to the stage but the boys hadnt come back out yet. So we passed that chain of balloons back over our heads to the back of the front section of seats. It was pretty wild that chain went across that whole sections of front seats. It was passed over everyones heads from back to front row and then back to the end of the section of seats without breaking. Too bad the boys didnt come out to meet the chain and start 2nd set. Both of these shows were simply amazing thank you so much for making them avaliable. I had tapes but they werent great quality like these. Thanks again. |

| So, how many times did the balloons eventually pass through the 11th row by the time they finally started the second set? I bet Jerry didn't even need his wah-wah pedal at that point...or the midi for that matter. |
