Important news from bt.etree.org!

Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.

If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.

Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.

This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.

For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.

Thanks, and happy downloading.

^^"where is an aud...the board is flat...."

Yeah, the levels are not too good for a lot of the first set, but by Passenger the sound rounds out pretty good - or is it by Tennessee? This is a high octane show, so it's still very worth it for that '81 goodness. Yeah, Eric_D_A, this has one of the hardest core Let It Grow's I've encountered. Top notch! This is a keeper, by all means, folks. It just gets better and better as it goes - which is how a Dead show should be. HERE IT IS! Brent's boards, Jerry's guitar, and Phil's bass - when he finally makes it into the mix - are flyin'. Check on the Scarlet/Fire to understand what I am talking about here - love the B-3 organ on this one, something I'm starting to appreciate more these days. DO THAT B-3 BRENT!!!!!! DEAD LIVE!
hseamons 2007-09-29 03:15:10
Forgot to say that I'm grateful for this one. I like when I hit a show that gets me to a new place - it usually has to do with that slightly unique sonic quality that is different from other shows - and some way far out playing. I think them being in Spain has something to do with this. I almost want to hear some maracas during that Fire, or something, as silly as that may sound.
hseamons 2007-09-29 03:56:09
Also, I recommend y'all turn down the treble some and up that bass nice and good. Good renditions of Sailor/Saint and Other One. Dick's Picks 37 on this one?
hseamons 2007-09-29 04:08:36
Whoah, a nice Stella Blue on here too! That's right folks, I'm commenting as I'm listening to the whole show. Hope you're enjoying these comments as much as I am. I should do this more often. Wait, no I shouldn't. This show rocks!
