Important news from bt.etree.org!
Begining on March 17 2006, all torrents seeded at bt.etree must
include 1) checksum files (.md5, .ffp) that include a checksum for
every lossless audio file in the fileset, and 2) a copy of those
checksums pasted into the torrent description, so everyone can see
them without downloading the fileset.
If you seed a torrent without this information, it will be deleted.
We're telling you this now, so you'll know.
Of course, if there is a problem, we'll try to contact you and help
to fix it. If you don't have a valid e-mail address on your
db.etree.org account, please take a moment to add one. If we can't
contact you, we can't help you, and it be very frustrating for
everyone. Seeders who don't have valid e-mail addresses may find
their logins disabled.
This message will appear on all torrents seeded to bt.etree until
everyone has gotten the message. If your torrent has checksum files
and lists them in the description, thank you! If not, please take a
moment to edit the torrent description to include them. If you have
to add the checksum files from scratch, you'll have to pull this
torrent and start over. Sorry about that.
For help generating checksums, please visit
http://wiki.etree.org or
http://forums.etree.org/viewtopic.php?t=7025. If you have specific
questions, please post them at http://forums.etree.org and someone
will help you ASAP. Please do NOT e-mail us directly.
Thanks, and happy downloading. |

Thanks for the seed!
Do the (x)'s by Looks Like Rain and Deal mean these songs are clipped? I looked in the db entry, but didn't see anything mentioned. Thanks for any light you can shed. |

| Yes, I grabbed this the other day at LL, it's pretty good, but not one of my favrotie '85s (and I generally am very enamored of '85s...). I don't think there is a pristine copy of this the way there is for some of the June or November '85 shows... |

The last measure or so (prob. less than 5 sec, the very ending) of LLR cuts, and then Deal comes in at: "...all that went down, it would burn off both your ears", os that cut is a little more substantial. There is a great section in Bird Song and the beginning of LLR where someone is doing a whole bunch of bird sounds, it's far out, and Healy slaps echo on the end of LLR (as was his wont on this tour to slap echo all over Bob, esp. during stage announcements like "Our highly trained cracked {cracked} equipment crew {equipment crew} is... [unintelligible because of so much echo] ...and then we'll resume our... singin' in the rain" before The Music Never Stopped (Hershey Park 6/28/85), so here it's: "here come the rain... come the rain". Anywya, I wouldn't turn my nose up at this show by any means GRAB IT!
A public serviced announcement from the Group of Freaks Rabidly Trying to Promote 1985 as a Peak Dead Year (1 member so far, though I realize '85 is highly regarded as one of the better latter-day Dead years, already).
"...all that went down, it would burn off both your ears..." |
